Friday Night Football

This game won't be as easy as the Leicester game. I am expecting Diego Costa and Eden Hazard to cause a lot of problems. For us, I wonder whether we will start with Sturridge or not. Klopp has preferred Firmino up top (as false 9?) for most of the big away games. One of Coutinho or Sturridge will start depending on the way we set up. Or we could drop Gini and play Coutinho deeper.

Overall, a draw would be a good result for us away at Stamford Bridge.

Strangely confident here as it's not so much the games against the big teams that are an issue. Since Klopp took over we have played Arsenal, City, United and Chelsea in 7 league games and lost only one of them.

Win or a draw for me, I'm going for a tight Liverpool victory with Mane and Firmino bagging the goals for us and Costa for Chelsea.

1-2

Looks like Hendo will start as CDM against Chelsea. Can not injured but needs more training.

Nice avatar mate, did you know that Mr. Antoine Griezmann is an avid Manchester United fan?

Not that confident in this one for reason's that evade me. We are playing well against the bigger sides generally and give them all a game, but so far Chelsea have looked very resilient, and Hazard and Costa have decided to start playing again. Can is out for us and that could be key in the midfield battle where Chelsea are strongest.

Will take a draw definitely, but have a feeling we'll lose 3 - 2.

For a Man United fan Griezmann sure seems to be strangely happy when Liverpool do well...

I'm pretty confident, probably overly so, but as Chelsea are going for the top 4 I kinda expect a win here (or a very good performance at least) and a woeful home defeat to Hull next weekend.

Luiz will start with terry out injured and that worries me slightly with the amount of movement that Liverpool have up front.

Costa is in form and hazard look back to his best and Kante has added some real steel to our midfield. I think a draw is likely but being at home I think we could sneak it.

Liverpool do always seem to turn it on for the bigger, higher-profile games before going on to fuck it up against a team they should beat without any problem so I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool got the win here.

It depends how well prepared Conte has got a defensive line including David "Sideshow Bob" Luiz for the fast-paced onslaughts Liverpool throw in short bursts.

Think it will be a cracking game as both teams are having issues at the back and are also scoring for fun, but I'm sticking to a 3 - 2 loss for us tonight, just have a feeling in my water about it.

I went for both teams to score with my bet, seems pretty safe.

I hate Friday evening matches but I'll watch it though :D

Come on Reds, win one for the Gipper (wrong sports and team I know).

Chelsea vs Liverpool: 1-2 and red card Costa that would be the ideal scenario for me.

I'm expecting this to be a feast of attacking open play from both sides with plenty of goals

Going for a Chelsea win by the odd goal in 5

I think you need to add Liverpool next to HSV and Wolves in your supports section, mate.

The important question: is 'we are Liverpool, tralalalala' the shittest football song in the history of the game?

Perfect time to score - after a good start and a goal for Liverpool, Chelsea were starting to take control and looking like scoring. Bit of a kick in the teeth.

Liverpool have controlled the match and deserve their lead. Chelsea have simply had no answer to the energy that a Klopp side takes onto the pitch
