Leeds got knocked off their perch last season by us and Newcastle. First time ever I believe since they got relegated from the prem. I think they will sell out everywhere this season though. Home crowds are up, so away demand will be higher.

Just making a point. There were two clubs last season in this league with better away support, so his point about a year of sell outs is irrelevant. Anyway, I've had enough arguments with smiley, to last me a life time.

We've sold over 1k so far for our game at yours, to supporters who have been to 12 aways this season. It goes down to 6 aways tonight. I doubt that allocation will be enough, so will no doubt take the lower. With our form I'd be very surprised if we never.

A full year today since Leeds failed to fill an away allocation. 6,400 tickets sold from a 6,700 allocation away at Blackburn on Tuesday 1st February 2017.
Hahaha, welcome boss. You'll fit in here just fine.

That's assuming we offer it you, though I would be surprised if we didn't.

£24,£27 and £30 at hull with no concessions. 2300 odd, Friday night another sky game which we probably won't quite sell out.

That's fair enough. Maybe if clubs started doing that, we would think twice about not offering more.

Take things into account regarding Leeds. They are the only club in the third biggest city in England. They have a nationwide fanbase from the 65-75 glory years. No other big clubs in West Yorkshire. I don't think Wednesday do too bad at all tbf.

Your allocation boils my piss, both games have sold out more than 2 weeks before the game and we've turned up and there have been 13,000 and 9,000 empty seats in the home end. We'd be stupid to give you more than the 2,000 you gave us next season if we're in the same league.

Agree!
We are the first to moan when we have a small allocation with loads of empty seats in the home end. Personally, I'd have no problem upping it to atleast 3500.

It irks me. 2,400 would be fine at Wolves or Brum, we'd probably just about sell it out if it was played this Saturday but Villa's a dead easy away day, a brilliant ground and obviously appeals to away supporters in this division.

Apart from not being older or better they are very much on a par IMHO.
Google says it's older.

I prefer Hillsborough because of the away end, though the first time I went to Elland Road we were in the little cheese section and had about 2k there. Was a decent atmosphere that day.

They used to give some teams the whole end behind the goal. Not many teams had it though, and most were in that corner opposite where the away end is now.

Yeah that's where we were when I first went. Last time as an away fan was in what is the away end now, then this season on the Kop. Got Leeds away in a couple of weeks actually, Sunday 4:30pm on Sky....

Can only remember us having behind the goal 3 times. Once for a cup game, and twice in the league. I don't think we travelled that well up there in the 70s and 80s, apart from an fa cup game.
