It's that time of year again, which means...

Huge game, between the current two best teams in the league. Win and we're 11 points clear of 2nd (potentially) and it will be hard to see someome catching us. Lose and it's reduced to 5 points, and the pressure is on. I would take a draw now if offered.

Cavaliero and Boly were both taken off injured in our last game, with no update as of yet if they'll be fit for this game. Both will be huge misses, Cav has been in the form of his life this season and in Boly's 16 games we have kept 11 clean sheets. The players also look tired, especially Jota, so it will be interesting if he starts. If it's anything like the reserve fixture we'll be in for a cracker, just pray to god we have a half decent ref this time. I think the team will look something like this:

Ruddy
Bennett - Coady - Miranda
Doherty ----------------------- Douglas
Neves - Saiss
Costa ------------- Jota
Bonatini
Bristol City 2-2 Wolves (Paterson, Reid, Costa×2)

Huge game this, draw's no good for us really. Rather go all out than settle for being miles behind you lot.

Fielding
Wright Flint Baker Mags
Pack
Pato Brownhill Smith Eliasson
Reid
BCFC 1-2 Wolves (Reid 12') (Saiss 56' Bright 89')

Appreciate the compliment mate but you aren't miles behind us. 2nd in the league, in the semi finals of the cup having beat 4 prem teams including Man Utd (twice as many as West Brom have beat this season lol). Should be a very good game.

Think we will lose this. I'm not even concerned about Wolves. They'll win the league comfortably. How we are still keeping up the pace with all our injuries is ridiculous. Gotta feeling it's going to catch up with us soon.

I think every team currently in the top 10 can kiss goodbye to getting anywhere near you this season if we don't get 3 points here, I'd be fairly confident of getting something if Paterson and Baker were guaranteed fit but the last time they were both out in a game we got hammered by Leeds at home.

We shall see.

7 players injured right now, and Wolves the best team in the league, so a very tough match.
That said I feel confident that we could beat anyone in this league right now.
There's going to be goals for both teams, can see it being 2-1 either way.

Lose and Wolves are out of sight for everyone, barring a collapse of epic proportions, win and I wouldn't write off being able to catch them.

Wolves fans remind me of City fans when we stormed to the League One title.
Every draw or defeat led to panic but in reality none of the teams got close to us.

I predict a 5 point gap at 7.30pm on Saturday but nothing to fear Wolvo's, you will still get your 100 points no problem.

We currently have 7 or 8 players out injured and potentially Paterson and Baker will miss this game. Huge loss!

Can see Wolves walking away with this. It’s a miracle how we’re 2nd in this division.

Think it's in our best interests to hope Wolves run away with the league so away win I guess.

2-0 to us. We've been shit the last few weeks. But still grinding out wins or draws, even though undeserved. So I predict we get back on track in the official 2018 European City of Gas. Would prefer Batth to Miranda at the back if Boly is out. And maybe start a couple of the kids up front to rest Jota and Bonatini for one of the bigger games coming up.

Would take a draw now if offered, think it'll be a tough game and hope we don't ruin our chance for Monday.

I’d go with that prediction, sadly. Only slim of hope I have is our record on the box is very, very good. But we may have to rely on a couple youngsters tomorrow.

Do you? It was 1 footed he wasn't off the ground but he did foul him, not a red imo. Not like ours against you which was a red

I wouldn't have given a red no but the decision was there to be made with studs up. It was looking a great game before that and we are not good against packed defences.

One of the worst red card decisions I've ever seen. Goodman's tongue is so far up this refs arse he's picking his nose with it.

The Sheff Utd one was a blatant red.

Todays one was soft as reds go, but there was definitely a case for it to be a red.

There's absolutely no fucking case whatsoever. He wasn't off the ground, his studs weren't showing and it wasn't dangerous. It was a great tackle and not even a free kick. Sadly it's just another pathetic decision in a long list this season.

Quite clear you don't understand football in 2017 if you think that was not a free kick.

I think some would class the tackle a reckless, like the referee did. Doesn't mean I'd have given it a red if I was in charge, but it isn't up to me.
As I said, as far as red cards go it was very soft.

Not a point that it comes down to in the rules, but something some refs do take into account, it was utterly needless to go flying in like that near the edge of the other teams penalty area.
Again, not something thats necessarily right, but it happens.
