We need to be beating little sides like Bradford if we want to win the league.

Can finally get to add this to the 92, although after my office xmas party on Friday night I'll probably be regretting coming. If you find a (probably) hungover guy sleeping in the town centre, that'll be me.

2-0 win for the mighty Reds.

Don't think I've ever seen us not beat Charlton at home and we (99%) always beat Karl Robinson = home win, but + we don't score enough = score draw

Charlton are a pure meh side aren't they. I couldn't name one thing about them other than that thick people get our grounds mixed up.

Depends what Charlton side shows up really as I hear they can be laughably bad or quite good. We will probably play our standard 'quite well but struggle to score' style.

Charlton were laughably poor when we beat them. And from watching us play this season I know what laughably poor looks like.

I saw they smashed Bristol Rovers not long ago so maybe they're a bit hit and miss.

We've only lost 4 home games in all comps in the last 14 months and only Millwall beat us by more than 1 goal so it amuses me when every game the oppo fans on here predict a 2-0 or 3-1 win. But it's got to happen some time I guess, probably by some guff side who you're not expecting.

I try not to bite on things like this usually but fuck me, that first paragraph was written by a Bradford City fan, right?

Can't disagree with your second paragraph though. The potential of the side is very good, as evidenced by our performances under Nugent once the inept Slade departed but these performances have been too far and between. Hopefully Robinson is going to be able to get the best out of them. Still early days for him yet though and Bradford are a good side so think we'll get beat here, marginally.

Lastly, if anyone does find Lamby asleep in Bradford town centre. Leave him there.

Was probably biting at the 'little side' jibe myself by calling you a meh side.

Northampton and Coventry used to be my meh sides but then we beat Northampton at Wembley and we got in a big footballing philosophy disagreement with Coventry that lasted a couple of seasons so now o have a reason to notice them both.

Yeah, I thought that was probably the reason. I wouldn't pay much attention to Lamby's jibe, it's about the very extent of his wit. He starts every match day thread with the same thing.

3 strikers start the game, away from home. You sure Karl? We've been used to watching negative, defensive shit most of this season.

Absolutely battered Bradford for first 30 mins, let them get back in to it a bit.

Worried missed chances are going to cost us now.

Facts are facts chaps.

Doesn't tell the whole story either does it when you consider how close we have come to scoring and also the stats don't show that we should probably have had a penalty when Magennis was dragged down.

Bradford far better than us second half, draw was the fair result in my opinion.

0-0 away at Bradford is a good result for a Robinson team, he never beats Bradford.

For the one which hits the post/bar, Hiwula on his own has missed two one on ones, other than that I can't remember many other Charlton chances, both teams cancelled out in that sense and I agree a draw was the fair result although we never deserved to win had someone snatched a goal. Thought we were poor, final ball, finishing, no where near good enough, the club has played down us not needing another striker but that's laughable, we need one right now should we have any chance of a Play Off spot. Charlton looked decent, I didn't realise how good a squad they had until I looked this morn, just glad I didn't put a bet on Magennis as first goal scorer now

Started well but were dreadful after the first 5 minutes up until about 30 mins. Long ball up to Hanson and it was just coming back at us. Charlton should have been 2-0 up, hit post and had a goal line clearance. Thought them hitting the bar would have been a flukey goal

Ref probably didn't give Magennis a pen because he'd waved away two times when our players were getting ragged about in the box in the first 10 mins.

Thought we were better side for the rest of the game, started to get it down and play some decent stuff but Hiwula was wasteful. I like him as a player but he doesn't score enough.

As for Charlton I thought they were one of the better sides we have played, they looked good on the break and Magennis is everything I'd want Hanson to be, strong and intelligent. Although he's probably on a decent wage too.

Hard to argue anything the last two Bradford posters have said.

For me, we were the better side for 35 mins of the first half and they were for pretty much the majority of the second.

We actually looked a decent side and on that showing all with our three best players missing, with a bit more time and hopefully a pro-active January, I think Robinson is going to win more games than not with us.

Bradford as I expected are a tough side, seem to be sharing in our problem of not being clinical enough in front of goal, that could have easily been a 2-2 or 3-3 game on another day.

Bantamigo, on Magennis. He's been fantastic for us, when we signed him from Kilmarnock I wasn't overly excited but he's great, strong and intelligent as you say, links up well, never gives up on lost causes. Really good summer signing.

All in all, pleased with a point there and reasons to be a bit more optimistic about what Karl Robinson can do with this squad.
