We were awful. Burn in particular. Really really missed Lockyer and Sweeney.
Still, our midfield were wank today anyway.
No complaints. Got what we deserved.

Defensive shambles. Boy did we miss Lockyer and Sweeney. Pity James Clarke was injured because even he would have been an improvement on Broadbent and particularly Burn who was atrocious.

We also lost the midfield battle for most of the game. On the day Bradford had more quality and fight in the centre of the park so dominated possession.

Harrison worked hard up front and caused them a few problems, Bodin showed his clas at times and Nichols looked very good when he came on. Everyone else had a bad day at the office.

We could have sneaked another goal or 2 as we had a couple of decent chances but so did Bradford so they deserved their 3-1 win.

Vincelot was back so probably helped us dominate the midfield. Shame he got himself banned as I would have fancied us to get more than 1 point from Walsall and Blackburn games with him in the side.

Wasn't fancy but we played a lot more direct than we have done so far, looked to get it forward at every opportunity and Poleon and Wyke are both decent outlets for differing reasons. Nice to have an actual winger on the field in Gilliead too.

Probably closest to our full strength side now, question marks over Law playing left wing, Doyle and McMahon's defending but none of those are gonna get dropped.

Obviously not easy going to a team with a good home record without both central defenders so credit to the manager for not using this as an excuse.
