1 down at half time. Had some chances, but overall getting bullied, as expected.

Crawley haven’t even tweeted about the pitch inspection, only ours has. Very tinpot.

Jesus our team is even more ravaged by injuries then we thought, nobody has any idea what formation we are playing. We are going to lose this, if we win with this team it's a Christmas miracle

2pm inspection at Crawley. Tinpot fuckers. Sounds like a load of our fans are stuck on the motorway in a tailback, our local reporter has tweeted he won’t make it in time for kick off (if it does)

Game on

Weird line up today, with Dom Telford and Joel Grant dropped for Billy Clarke and Zak Rudden. Also Joe Edwards dropped. Strange.

We should get absolutely hammered today.

This team is the worst team in the football league for sure. A team bereft of quality or confidence. A team with gaping holes in key areas. A team with an awful couldn’t give a fuck attitude. It’s just terrible in every way.

I mean I knew this was a poor team a few months ago, but for a while I did think we’d have a chance of avoiding bottom spot. But worryingly this team is getting worse and worse by the week and with our track record of weakening the squad in January, I just can’t see how we survive unless Macclesfield get kicked out or deducted 20 points.

So yeah I expect Bradford to Turn us over by 2 or 3 goals today.
Don’t underestimate Boring Bowyer’s powers to nullify our chance of goals, going again with five defenders, no Vaughan, this system has crippled us in recent weeks but tactical genius Gary knows best...

Colchester marginally the better side in a dull game, conditions are dreadful.
Amusingly the Colchester fans are chanting 'is this a library', have they ever been to a Colchester home game?

The best news for us is Lewis Ward being on the bench. Hopefully he can start soon.

One of our best players, Jake Taylor missing today so I doubt we will be bringing home the points.

Both teams have missed absolute sitters so far. The one Amoo had for us you just can’t miss them sort of chances.

Thankfully we’ve only missed the one sitter so far as opposed to the 4 or 5 against Scunny.

Dire encounter at the Lamex, we've been the marginally less shit based on two short passages of actual football, one of which ended up with two smart saves from Farman in short succession, otherwise we've been slack and ponderous for long spells and Stevenage not much better but had a couple of chance themselves on the break and one header our old boy Digby should have got on target from a good position. Amusing to see a Westley player getting a card for simulation early doors.
There to be won if we can have another second half like last Sat.

Poorest game on an awful pitch at Mansfield which probably suits the home sides long ball game.

We’ve been caught overplaying at the back and time or two and got away with it, Rose missed a sitter as did Amoo, we’ve grown into the game though and started to look dangerous after a fast start by Mansfield.

Got to be careful as we learnt at home against these of Rose who as usual goes down like a sack of potatoes at the slightest touch.

Popey meanwhile who was wrestled to the ground in the box doesn’t get a penalty...

However for the first time in more years I can remember I'll not be attending today. Good luck to the lads but until that tyrant has gone I'll not be stepping foot in the ground again.
Just to make you gutted at missing a thriller here are the half time stats:

Started the brighter and missed the usual sitters. Then Macc come back into it a bit.

As usual we will rue the missed chances and lose 1-0.

Very poor pitch not helping either.

Well that was shite. First goal was a decent hit, can't do a lot about those. 2nd though, Mbulu gets rolled by a guy who's a good 2-3 inches smaller than him.

After that, we've struggled to string anything together on a wet pitch. Couple of half chances, nothing more. Salford are cruising and we are going to need a Christmas miracle to get anything out of this.

Salford and Alexander need a massive fine for their time wasting. 2 players booked and the manager given a yellow as well. Disgraceful, no need when they are in such a comfortable position.

Feels an opposite of Saturday, we have played well and not sure how we are losing. Walsall scored off a fortunate deflection and they've not really done much else

Poor first 15 and then came into it. Mansfield were quite direct without really creating too many chances and Amoo has got to score.

Rose going down like a sack of shit when breathed on as per usual.

1-0 Smith the scorer. Been a real bonus for us this year the way he pops up with goals now and then.

Make that 2-0 Leon Legge. Vital to get the two goal cushion. Looks a horrible pitch to play on.
