My point being you should watch Elito off the ball. You won't see that on the one camera angle of Ifollow.

Elito is lazy off the ball and gives no cover for the full backs and Davies was like a rabbit in the headlights at home to Carlisle because Elito was in front of him.

He gives the ball away a hell of a lot as well. Against the poor teams he looks ok but against a decent team he can look good.

I got your point the first time. I don't just watch games on ifollow, so I'm well aware of what Elito brings to the side, and that's why I said I fully believe his best position is just behind the striker/s and not out on the wing as I know that he's not that great at tracking back. But then again, he's not the only guilty one at that either, and IMO he's being unfairly singled out.

I reckon it's also a tad unfair to offer that Carlisle match as an example, as all the players bar a couple were well below par on the day. I could mention yesterday's match and say we were poorer without Elito starting, but I won't as it would also be unfair as I don't rate players on one single performance. But still, it would be fair to say that not one single player did a decent job at tracking back now did they?

Bit too attacking and not enough midfield? Derry needs to find a way of setting us up which isn't gung ho but also is capable of creating something. The times I've seen us with numbers in midfield we've looked toothless up top.

Exactly Laker, too many attack minded players and not enough midfielders. I don't exactly have a problem with both Uche and Jabo starting together, though then there's the inevitable problem that strikers do not tend to drop down too deeply even when the side's under the cosh. My problem is more with players like Mingioa, Maris and Brown who, while decent enough players, are primarily attack minded players. As are Azeez, Elito and Amoo.

I actually felt sorry for Deegan who sometimes tried to do the job of three men, albeit unsuccessfully of course. Derry was the one to blame for that showing as you simply don't set up at Barnet in that manner, esp. when everybody knows they've got quite a bit of pace in their side.

Barnet put up extended highlights of the match. It looks like we are now playing the sort of football Rossi envisioned when he took over and a bigger win would not have flattered us. It's also not obvious that the likes of Weston and even Akinde won't just walk back into the side when they're fully fit again.

Barnet are looking exceptionally strong this season. Will be a very interesting match on Tuesday night for us.

I'm not expecting a result to be honest, maybe a draw if we're lucky. If we somehow beat Barnet then I really think we are in with a chance of automatic promotion.

That's nice to read Trapdoor but surely you must be expecting at least a draw with your start (and you walloped us at the hive last season).

We're a bit of a different team this year and we haven't played as good a side as you lot yet... So I'm expecting to come down to earth on Tuesday.

Well let's hope so. But we have a tendency to start to look good then come crashing down too (already done it this season with 4 losses in a row in all comps after a good start).

Should be some nice football played on Tuesday from both sides at least.
