Why aren't Walsall fans going mad at Sunderland for invading the pitch like they did for us?

In my slightly pessimistic mind the Bradford game has got “shock defeat” headlines written all over it. We are on superb form, them less so but picked up a decent result at the weekend, brought in a couple of experienced heads as well of late who might dig them out of the hole. A smaller point but the weather looks grim and not conducive to our sort of game either! Lack of centre halves judging from comments above but looking at the squad of players they seem better than bottom of the table on paper at least. Despite the 3-1 win we weren’t exactly on top of our game either so hopefully that serves to keep feet on the ground.

Reminds me of some of the conference games where we would go in as universally agreed favourites only to flop somehow. Better side now and importantly better manager but the scarring remains!

Don’t think the side can really be changed again, strange to say given how important he has been to us but I don’t think it can be justified getting Hylton back in the side unless someone is knackered or injured from the weekend and Justin was again very good at left back so Potts will have to wait a while longer. Shinnie has really stepped up of late to the extent that he seems to have surpassed Grant in that role now also. We have quite a settled feel about us now but the bench should be strong too if we need to change it.

I said before the Plymouth game that I thought it would be trickier than expected so now I’ve inferred that here too I’ll be hoping for the same result!
Some of us wouldn't no owt about been in the conference;) but yes you never no, our best performances this season have been against Portsmouth and Sunderland, where we should have got a point if not won.

But yes we are missing both CBs from the Oxford game and will be playing someone who's been playing RB when he's played and a German kid who's played 2 games. Gillingham 0-4 and Oldham 1-4 in the micky mouse trophy.

Au contraire my fat headed friend, I am not taking anything for granted. This isn’t some namby pamby conference league or feeder like shite like another team up in Yorkshire. This is League One and everyone can beat everyone. I like to think I’m an optomist and we are on a superb run of form at home, which no team has bettered, nor any team home or away in the last 10 games. That said, at some point we are going to come unstuck. Like everyone. That’s football.

Sunderland away. Result potentially huge come May. Don’t fancy our chance though.

I thought the sending off was a bit harsh (after seeing the incident replayed) I've seen some comments online from your supporters that the referee gave us everything. I don't agree, especially since (having seen a replay) the officials disallowed a first half goal for us wrongly.

Yeah the officials were poor, case in point Max Power's red card has been rescinded. Hopefully he makes me look like a prick further by having a great game tonight.

Accrington away tonight, christ we've had some tough games recently like Posh (H).Sunderland (A) plus tonight's game followed by Barnsley (H). I'd be more than happy with a point at Accy tonight tbf.

Can’t believe that there’s any doubt in the minds of our fans in the result tonight..
With our goal difference of +14 and theres of -17,and the current momentum of chasing down a play off position, can’t see anything other than a massacre on the level of the little big horn tonight....

Yeah I'm not overly optimistic about tonight and I would honestly be quite happy with a point. Not least because I'm going and I've not exactly been a talisman of good fortune for the lads this season...

SISU doing their absolute best to put Coventry City to bed once again.

It's clear that the EFL won't allow Coventry to play outside of the city again. Of course SISU are doing the best to ruin all chances of playing at the Ricoh next season.

We'll get beat tonight easily. Got too many injuries to compete at the moment.

We can't even fill a bench tonight. Looks like it's McArdle at RB and Perch at LB.

Gonna be a hammering.

We've literally handed them the game. They've had 3 chances, all from our cock ups, and scored all 3. Absolutely piss poor.

1-0 up in Bristol at HT. Well taken goal from List, but apart from that there's not been a chance at either end. We're playing the better football at the moment, but Rovers are standing so far off of us that they're making it easy to do so. Zakuani off injured is the only worry so far, but Ogilvie has looked fine at CB so far. Plenty of time to go.
