Looks like the guy on the left has taken the sponsor a little too much to heart

That is the God George Thorne, he can eat what he wants if he continues to produce this kind of play.
He'll be back to destroy you all this season :)

Without sounding disrespectful, how can you rate a guy so highly who has played a grand total of 9 games for Derby? I remember Andy Keogh looked like a world beater after 10 or so games for us, then he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.

I get your point, and there is no certainty he'll play well next season. It's just the fact that he played so well during that time that everyone thinks he is fantastic, including me. We'll wait and see, but he's performing well so far in pre-season (Not much of a sign, but it's encouraging).

He was fantastic (to a degree obviously, as he was just coming back from a 7 month injury) during his three games last season too. If he's fit all season, we'll win the league. FACT

Shame he won't be.

He must have looked like Lionel Messi in his 9 appearances for Derby if you're that assured that you win the league if the mighty George Thorne can stay fit.

Not got all my eggs in one basket when it comes to Thorne, whilst there's no doubt we've been a better team when he's been in the side you can just about count how many times that has actually happened on both your hands which isn't great for a player that's been with the club for 18 months. James is obviously in the Thorne the messiah camp. ;)

I like him but it'll be interesting to see what system we play this year and where he fits, he was very good in that holding role of a 433 in McClaren's team where a player like him was key to keep the balance of the team right. If we can keep him fit then I'm sure he'll be a key player for us regardless.

Not a fan of that kit, mind.

i like both kits, it's so nice to see one without a sponsor, the away kit is slightly better because there's no sleeve trims

Is it just our away kit that has yet to be revealed now?

Leaving it very late considering our first away game is in 9 days.

Absolutely loving that. Kits definitely one of the biggest plus points of the whole Bristol Sport thing, every one's been top notch so far. So much better than getting hand-me-down templates from the likes of Adidas

Only part I'm less keen on is purple socks with it, but I think that part will grow on me

Looking forward to seeing a few 20 stone pissed up Bristolians in the away end sporting a black/green/purple away shirt

It's a no from me.

I very much like it, though our (potential) 'Marmite' signing looks rather odd in it...

For those that don't know about this 'Marmite' player we're supposed to be signing, don't bother going onto otib to find out - as nobody can confirm who it'll be... If it ever happens.

Like it myself, would have been easy for the club just to do another version of our home shirt, but like they've made a different design.

If the club did pure purple and lime for a season or two more the novelty of it would ware off. We shouldn't need a third kit this season but purely Purple and Lime will be our third kit for a while you'd imagine. It wasn't our away kit last season, just turned out to be there preferred strip.

Leaving it very late considering our first away game is in 9 days.

This is what the club said a few weeks ago. Away kit update: As the finer details of the sponsorship deal have only just been finalised, our brand new 2015/16 away strip will not be available for fans to purchase at the start of the season. However, be sure to look out for the official launch of the kit during our new Sky Bet Championship campaign.

I expect we will find out what our new away kit looks like a few days before we play Birmingham.Did hear a rumour that it was going to be purple and yellow.
