I think our PR guy has just tweeted we are away, which is no big surprise. I reckon itll be somewhere up north maybe Leeds or Sheff Wed.

Second Sheffield away game on the first day of the season in consecutive years now.

Ipswich Town at home. Some tough away games in our first 10 fixtures, Bristol City, Burnley, Leeds, Boro and Derby are the first five aways for us.

Can see us being mid table at that point, hard start to the season - the fixtures seem to get a lot easier after then.

Brighton at home on Boxing Day (we always seem to be at home!) and away at Hudders on the final day. Fulham are our last home game of the season - tidy that!

Whatever happened to this idea of derbies and local games on Boxing Day when travel is difficult?

I assume the fixture planners worked tirelessly with Network Rail and the Highways Agency to absolutely maximise the amount of inconvenience to football supporters.

Good to play Hull and QPR at home in the first three weeks when they both still think they are in the PL and shit.

First thing that springs to mind is Wolves Away, 23rd April. Great! That means we aren't going to be able to see any of the game, and come home with Sunstroke!! I hate that Away End.

It's finally sunk in now! Looking at those first five games, there aren't any of them where we'd be favourites for 3 points. Ouch.

I think ill try and time my annual visit home for late October.. Away games at Brighton and Cardiff plus home to Fulham and Wolves looks good.

St George's Day too.... We're at Derby, that train trip could be interesting.

Derby away on the last day is definitely not what I would have chosen. Most of our London away fixtures are in the winter which also isn't what I wanted.

Does that not happen? We always seem to get one of the London teams (QPR this year).

We've got to come to Ashton Gate on a Tuesday. That's my weekend in Bristol ruined.

Overall pretty happy, some highlights

Sheff Wed away on Boxing Day (much prefer being away on Boxing Day)
Cardiff Away last day of the season (a change from Bolton)
Huddersfield away on St George's Day
All the main London always on Saturdays

Bring it on.

No. It seems to be for some clubs but not others.....there are some long long journeys Boxing Day. (Not for us, but for plenty of others)
