I think we went 13 last season without a win which involved 4-0 losses to both Colchester and Blackpool! This was just after it looking like we were heading back up after an excellent start with fudged face fuck Fergie. We exited the league... just not the way we expected.

My advice Bury fans - laugh or you'll cry.

What's the deal with Bury? From what I saw earlier this season you had a half decent side. The Dale game you looked decent but disciplinary silliness cost you the game. Thought you lot would win today but not to be. Have you lot got enough to stay up or are you going to limp down?

Flitcroft's ego cost us the game. We were well in it at 1-0, Zeli was just starting to threaten you and the egotistical twat took him off for league two standard centre forward Hallam Hope. Yes a striker he is trying to convert into a left winger, he puts him on at right wing for one of our most dangerous players and leaves one up front. Predictably Dale scored again and then we had two men sent off, it wouldn't have made much difference had it stayed at 11 vs 11.

13 without a win not 13 straight defeats

Why do I feel strangely confident about Fleetwood away?? IE, gaining a point.

I'm just thinking, despite our shocking run; we still:

- score regularly
- have one of the league's most prolific strikers in James Vaughan
- Have some talented youngsters who have come to the frame recently and done well/scored goals
- No significant suspensions.
- Jones back in at right back

In seasons gone by, or even earlier in the season, there would be no reason for us not to pick up a point this Boxing Day v Fleetwood.

Kay had a decent game Saturday by all accounts (wasn't there myself) and it looks like we beat ourselves more than anything. Don't know what's come over me to feel positive. No doubt I'll get sent crashing back down to earth with another winding up order or a 4-0 defeat.

One things for sure, we desperately need Zeli and Cameron back ASAP. They are key peices of the jigsaw. Get them back and I'd go as far to say we have a decent team on paper.

Agree with you to a certain extent, particularly re the young lads (Burgess, G Miller, Bedeau) and the desirability of getting Zeli and Cameron back.

However, the Cods have some good forwards - Ball, Hunter, Grant - whereas you have the choice between crap (Williams) and crapper (Rachubka) in goal. As a benevolent neutral, I'd say your first priority in January is.a.new, confident, goalie...

The losing run might well end at the.seaside, but possibly in something ridiculous like a.5-5 draw! :)
