I don't agree with these assessments. Our form is patchy but I don't accept our players aren't good enough. Nichols hasn't been given long enough for a fair assessment ( a certain Matty Taylor was written off iirc) Gaffney provides summat different to the team and allows us to play further up the pitch. Lockyer and Sweeney are both decent players and will come good. In midfield Ollie is still learning but has excellent attributes and will only get better whilst I reckon it's a bit lazy and unfair to describe Sincs as only a grafter. Sercombe looks better than what we've had. A run of patchy form will not convince me our players aren't suddenly good enough.
We'll be top half again, having a peek at the playoffs and tbh that's fair enough for me.

I have no obsessions whatsoever. After watching Posh thrash Rovers earlier in the season, I consider them to be a very poor team that is all. Results are not really proving me wrong so far and it is obviously likely to get worse.

Top 6 budget/going for promotion your having a laugh. This squad as it stands is mid table third div at best. We could of done with a defensive mid last night to stop Byrne and support the backs. Although Moore played quite well 1st half last night he is not good enough. Leadbetter and Brown need to be rested --- What does Bola need to do to get a game ?
I think we gave up any hopes of a promotion push when we failed to purchase defensive mid/left winger & striker that knows where the goal is. Someone who Nicholls can feed off.
As for Oldham -- They were the worst team I have seen at the Mem since we got promoted -- But they beat us. Says a lot about us.

Ooh yes forgot about this every time we beat someone. Our performance at your place last season was terrible (our season was over by then) so not having that last night's was worse.

Tbd we wasn't very good first half but the wind and rain did for us. When we got a grip on the game ten mins before half time we were the better team for the large part.

This isn't to say we were outstanding. We are overjoyed not for the performance but for the way we won it, and the fact considering what has gone before its a huge improvement. We were improved on last week and continued our upward trend. We were far from dire/awful we did what was needed given the conditions.

That comment just stinks of bitterness resulting from a last kick winner after you pulled 2 goals back.

Agree with the other gashead, not the worst.

Tbf, the other teams this season have looked better than you did although we did host played Fleetwood, Walsall & Peterborough at home.
