That was very dull.

Hopefully it opens up in the second half.

Kieftenbeld looks a solid player in the middle for Birmingham. Seems to break up most of Villa's play.

For all the millions both of these teams have spent it's a shame that they know nothing bar direct hoofball.

Awful first half, but better second. Both teams had chances and I'd say a draw is a fair result. They will always up their game ten fold for us, so a point ain't too bad.

Birmingham have some proper shit house fans, chucking stuff on pitch all game surely warrants some form of punishment.

Claret and blue clappers and blaring out Ariana Grande over the tannoy at full time. Birmingham City, your club is dead.

Tbf it was only cardboard although there was the odd bottle and lighter. They are just a bunch of pricks who will only pick off your normal match going villa fan. Horrible fans and are an embarrassment to their city. We are the main club in brum, always have been always will be.

Those threads don't stop being a great read. It's great that we have such a massive community of match-going fans in the English lower leagues especially since I reckon not even 5 posters attend Prem games on a regular basis (it has its cost I grant you but going to a Championship ain't free either).

Most Premier League 'fans' on here are talking on shoutbox whilst their team is playing. A few Championship fans too :err:

I know. Actually I don't because I never saw the point of the shoutbox but I'm sure what you say is true. Sad state of affairs.

Horribly negative from Bruce as ever. Very frustrating with the players at his disposal and when we did try and play football mid way through the second half, the chances came.

Both teams with some cracking chances to win it. Referee atrocious and blew up for everything so there was no flow to the game.

Red hot atmosphere created by those clappers. Back to 15k crowds next week, but a solid point in their cup final. They'll be delighted.

It's fair to say they won't be having clappers next season, that's if we play each other next season. I thought blues played well, but we were very frustrating to watch. Snodgrass going off made us a better team.

24k for the biggest match of the season in a city of over 1 million people. Truly embarrassing club

I know there is segregation but how does B'ham vs Villa have 5000 tickets off the full capacity?

WMP are doing there best to kill it. Early KO, cutting away allocations, cutting blues home capacity, although ours only gets cut by 1k or so. Ticket restrictions for home fans. Because of the trouble over the years they don't want blues above us or anywhere near us in the ground. A few years back the police cut our allocation to 1500 and the attendance for the game was only 22k. Blues still have a very big hooligan element that turn up now and again or wait outside or in the pubs.
