Omar Beckles by a country mile.

I agree with Beckles over the season, but not by a mile. Alexander hasnt been far behind him and has been consistent (other than the last month or so, but Beckles has been poor then too). Personally Gallagher would have walked it were it not for his poor discipline in the first half of the season (no coincidence that the 7 games in a row we lost he was suspended for 6 and got sent off in the 7th)

Personally don't think any of our players have played to their potential this season. Norwood has scored the most goals but also wasteful.

Probably Steve Jennings. Keeps the game ticking, breaks up opposition play and has been sorely missed when unavailable. Unlikely to win our pots due to being in the team over the back to back relegation however.

Dale Bennett or Elliot Frear for me.

Bennett; consistent, ultra committed every week and one of the most rapid defenders I've ever seen. Best rb in the league, despite actually being a cb by trade.

Frear; again very consistent, great left foot always an option out wide prepared to take on his man and get crosses in, once again leading the assists chart. Got a good set piece on him as well.

He may be the best right back, but he wasn't up to much against us the other week (Frear was good though). However, he was certainly the biggest whinger.

Ross Hannah ./.. 20 league goals in a shit team in which he's had absolutely no service.
I didn't look at this thread at first because POTS meant nothing to me.

Looks like we're the only ones without this thread.

We've had a strange season, as a team we started very good, then were absolutely shite, now we're good again so we've not really had a consistent performer so for us I'll go Lewis Montrose, easily our best player but he does sometime look a bit lethargic but when he's on it he runs games, so glad he's contracted for next season as he could easily play higher, O'Hanlon has been brilliant aswell, Gareth Roberts is unreal for 37 aswell, looks like he could play another 5 years, Glenn Rule looked like he was nailed on for this until his 10 game suspension, then Young rushed him back from injury and has missed half the season.

So Montrose for us.

We do already have a thread for this. Have moved your post mate. It perhaps wasnt totally clear so I have edited the title a little too.

Thoroughly deserved too and the 2nd and 3rd are right too. Bradley has been very consistent all season unlike a lot of his team mates.
Same top 3 as the echo with Muldoon 4th who got his 10th league goal of the season today.

Sums up our season really, as all of the first 3 gets their new clubs POTS, all strikers having been shipped by our manager

Nearly kept hold of him but didnt think much of him Matty Taylor 28 goals
Nearly kept him but didnt like him James Norwood 21 goals
Nearly kept him but he really wasnt up to it Danny Wright 18 goals
Nearly kept him but didnt play him as he was past it Lee Hughes 11 goals in 22 games

Our top scorer Jon Parkin 14 goals in many more than 22 games

So I think its a defender that gets it this year, Dale Bennett Charlie Clough or Marcus Kelly for staying so diplomatic when not playing despite being such a good playmaker

Taylor hasn't won our POTY award... yet. He won Young Pirate's Player of the Year which is voted for by the the kids who are members of the, yeah you guessed it, Young Pirates. Our actual club awards are yet to be announced.

Danny Wright hasn't won ours either. It could be any one of about 5 or 6 players for ours.

After whinging about our conversion rate so often, it seems odd to name a forward as our POTS. However, Norwood is edging McNulty and Scott Davies for me at the moment, closely followed by Steve Jennings.

POtS: Connor Jennings

Not too many candidates for Young player this season so probably went to the right players.

Both players have been the target of ire from the small cadre of relentlessly negative posters on RP lately so it's causing much wringing of hands. Both should be released apparently.

Only contenders would have been Taylor or heslop for player and Jackson for young player I would have thought

Went to the right people I think

Those are the 2 I voted for. There's about 10 players who need releasing before we even think of getting rid of those 2.

Ricky Miller or Nicky Deverdics for us. Sean Raggett has had a class season but isn't yet consistent enough IMO

Surprisingly Padraig Amond won our player of the year last night, with Jon Nolan winning young player of the year.

I personally wouldnt be sad to see Evans released but it wouldnt be the end of the world if he gets a new deal either. We should fight tooth and nail to retain Jennings.

I knows its not acceptable but id be tempted to say Heslop was my player of the season...

Guessing ours will be announced at the last game on Saturday, but if it's not Stuart Lewis then something is seriously wrong.

Would probably have Danny Kedwell in second.
