Karius simply cannot be our number 1 next season if we have any hope of pushing on. But I've already indicated that I wouldn't be surprised to see Klopp allowing his stubbornness be a detriment to what's best for the club.

Ahh you reminded me.

“I got all the pictures from different perspectives, saw it and thought: ‘how can we all think that the boy who didn’t show any weakness in that game until then made these big mistakes in a very important game and nobody thinks it’s because of the knock he got?’ How can we think that? That was, for me, the explanation and I thought: ‘OK, come on, we need to check that.’

“I thought it was too late, you cannot check that. But now I know a concussion isn’t coming and going in a day – if you have one, you see it days later. Five days after the final, Loris had 26 of 30 markers for a concussion still. That’s clear.

“If you ask Loris, he says he didn’t think about it and didn’t use it for a second as an excuse. We don’t use it as an excuse, we use it as an explanation. That’s always important, that’s what analysis should be: you explain why things happen. So, from this point of view, from my side everything is fine. We don’t think about that anymore and we start completely new.”

The idea that Karius only fucked up (twice) because he got a bit of an elbow in the head by that dirty cunt Ramos is a little funny. I can see why some people might cling to such a notion though but the simple truth is he's simply not very good and always has such fuck ups in him. Shame it had to happen twice last night to cost us a chance at the game.
The first mistake is quite obviously a result of the elbow. The second was probably the results of the stewing on the first mistake and thinking about all the Liverpool fans that have slaughtered him for most of the season. The lad is 24 and in a new country, has the makings of a fine keeper - you should support him.
I like him too - just don't know how he can say the elbow smash to the head didn't affect Karius for the first goal. It's very possible Karius was seeing stars.
This is complete bollocks and typical of you using the word “obviously” to try to justify a statement totally untrue.
Go and have your equipoise rattled by a smashing elbow to the skull delivered by an elite 13+ stone athlete and see if you say the same.
He seems fine directly afterwards. If he was shaken so much that it would have made him lose all his composure, he should have stayed down and got the physio on.

Got this a bit wrong didn't you boys? No concussion you said, like what - it was obvious

Karius develops into one of the best keepers in the world if fans give him a chance.

Well we better stick by him as he will be our number 1. Most of us aren't happy with it, but we'll need the money to fork out on bolstering the rest of the squad.

Liverpool were hilariously linked with Jack bleedin' Grealish earlier today! Why do they even bother making that shite up!

Wouldn't be a bad signing if the fee was reasonable. A solid bench option with much to build on.

I like how we live in a time where Wolves have a goalkeeper who is twice as good as Champions League finalists Liverpool's goalkeeper.

You could have him then. We are not paying £20-30 mill for him backing our wing or midfield (where we have loads of options anyway) when we can have Shaqiri and Fekir coming in with Wilson as back up to them.

Looking at Diego Rico a left back from Spanish side Leganes for a £5m move, according to Marca and various British reports.

Jannik Vestergaard and Angus Gunn seem to be the ones incoming for us at the moment.

West Ham are apparently willing to listen to offers for Antonio over 15mill. Mad if true.

Angus Gunn going to be your number 1? Would be a waste for him to sit on the bench

I'd imagine McCarthy will start the season as number 1 and rightfully so.

Balo definitely isn't a Rafa player. We're after Alassane Pléa from Nice apparently. Had a bid turned down last week.

Speaking of Nice, in one of the summers stranger transfers, Fulham have signed Jean Michaël Seri. MASSIF coup for them, given the interest from far bigger clubs over the last couple of years. Up there with them signing Van Der Sar in terms of wtf.

West Ham appear to be suffering from Anglomania and a severe case of being a pair of dildo brothers in trying to tap up our boy Lascelles.

McCarthy’s just signed a four year deal and been handed the number one shirt, so probably not. Gunn will probably be the Cup goalkeeper next season and of course it’s easier to get in our team than it is the Man City one.

Manchester City were also interested in him, apparently.

Some new Dybala rumors surfacing
And good old James Pearce has today quashed that, like he does with almost every big transfer rumour about Liverpool!

He's like Van Helsing that guy, just when we have a smidgen of hope that maybe, just maybe, something will become of this; no, he drives a stake right through our hearts ending our hopes and dreams in an instant!
