It's not like the FCC won't let them either, it's the network. Breaking Bad was allowed one "fuck" per season and that's it.

I think they've already wasted the moment whoever it is. It could have been truly shocking and graphic but now we've already imagined worse than whatever they'll now show in our head, and it's just a case of waiting to see who it was.
I'm going along with this. I also found myself not caring particularly. Not like in the past with deaths of previous characters.
I also found some parts a bit stupid really. Like when Negan takes Rick for a little ride with the hatchet. I'm sorry but there's no way you stop because he's got a gun. Your heads fucked after witnessing him beat your friends to death, you're filled with rage and want to kill the guy, if you go for the hatchet you're committed. Maybe he mows you down, maybe he gets a shot off, maybe he doesn't but once you go for it you're dying or he is. You don't just stop in your tracks, I'm calling bullshit. And I should know, I've had to butcher many a maniac in my time.

Leaving the last series on a cliff hanger was a huge mistake and it ruined the moment. The Walking Dead would be a much better series if it was on a different network that know what the hell they are doing. If it wasn't for the really good acting and Negan being so great I would probably of stopped watching this show because it is directed and handled so poorly at times its like a rollercoaster.

Game of thrones pisses on it right now.

Not exactly a 'huge mistake' as the episode garnered the second biggest viewership draw across the series. They handled it perfectly for their own needs, they knew you were going to watch anyway.

It screws the show up and makes it inconsistent.

How? It was a cliffhanger designed to pull in viewers for a new season to see a big moment. It achieved that goal, now it'll revert to type.

Because we had to wait so long I did not care as much for whoever would die because I had not seen TWD for six months and when it finally came back on, Abraham and Glenn barely say anything.

Latest episode was quite shit in my opinion. I know this Ezekiel guy is just putting his silly king act on, so it was a relief for him to admit it to Carol that he's really a normal person and it was nice to not hear him talk like an irritating prat anymore, but this new community is so lame and that ending was one of the cheesiest there's ever been!

I really don't know what the hell they have done to Carol now, not long ago I thought she was one of the best characters but now she's become so annoying, they have ruined her.

This show goes from great to poor in the space of 1 week.

She had a breakdown early in the comics so maybe her late blooming breakdown now is just catching her story up? Considering Andrea and Sophia are both suppose to be alive you really don't know what's going to happen.

At the very least I liked seeing the other side of Dwight.

We need to get back to Alexandria. Maybe Gabriel will be able to pray The Saviors away.

I get the feeling that Dwight will end up helping Daryl.

He has to be pivotal somehow. You don't dedicate that much time to fleshing his character out for no reason.

The next episode is going to be 90 minutes long and is back with Rick and Alexandria. Get the feeling that something is going to go down!

Episode 3 felt like an episode on repeat.

First 40 minutes was segment after segment of Daryl getting beaten down, then beaten some more, then some more... and more, and more and more. Then suddenly last 5 minutes they finally chuck some interesting back story and information in your face only to end with nothing changing other than Dwight's character being expanded slightly. So much wasted screen time.

Slightly better episode, Negan is the only interesting character left new though.

I'm really struggling to care about anyone now.

Thought that was a good episode, Negan is a bad ass I'm finding it hard to dislike him. Don't like seeing Rick in this state though he needs a kick up the arse.

That was a better episode but I'm still disappointed with the lack of action for the 3rd episode in a row and the zombies becoming less and less relevant.

Negan is still a c*** though.

My little theory is that Alexandria, the Hilltop and The Kingdom will unite. Eugene will finally be of use, teaching the others how to manufacture ammunition. The threat will ignite a coup in The Saviors ranks. The problem will be storing the ammunition and hiding the guns.

Rick is now pretty much Reek. It was great to see Rick finally meet someone stronger than him, blowing this idea that his group could beat anyone to smithereens. But now I desperately want him to retain his dignity. Negan is terribly awesome.

I can't remember the last time someone of note was bitten.

Was Tyreese the last one note worthy to die of a bite? I think the walkers will eventually die out and then it'll all be about humans.

The thing with the zombies on this show, is that they're shit pieces in the background.

Humans are more powerful than them, as we saw in the last episode you can simply walk up to one and bash it's head in. They can't run either, so the humans in the show can walk freely going about their day to day lives (Michonne in the last episode).

In fact, it's bizarre how these managed to take over the world. Guess people dying naturally and still turning had something to do with it.
