Take Jota away and Brentford are a very poor team personally. Hogan's goals kept them comfortable in mid table and now Jota (one of the very best players at this level) is fully fit and starting regularly they'll stay there. If they didn't have him, I think they'd be in with a very outside chance of dropping.

Anyway we're in a doomsday situation again. Twelve days ago we were out the bottom three and now we're six points adrift AGAIN! Norwich at home on Tuesday to reduce the gap back to three and get back ahead of Blackburn. It's a must win because we've got Fulham the following Saturday and we never ever ever ever beat Fulham. Didn't realise Burton signed Michael Kightly, I'm angry we didn't go after him, he could start for a top half Championship team let alone bloody Burton. Incredible signing!

Great result for Burton on Saturday, really hope they stay up.

As for Rotherham, I know they've been nailed on to go down all season but how can you literally only have 1 point from 16 away games? How is it possible to be that shit? Shame to see them doing so badly but not a surprise.

I'm actually worried about our game on the 18th. Only cus my Wigan mate from Uni is coming on.

That team would be in trouble in the league below from what I saw on Saturday. They looked almost in shock that they might be able to get something from the game given how badly we were playing and they didn't even manage that

Our mini revival is over Saturday. Brighton away.
Although the first game was close (89th min penalty ) - this I fear will be a tonking.
So an opportunity for Wigan and Blackburn to close the gap

Drew against a good Norwich side tonight. Could have had 3 points but for some awful goalkeeping. Take the point and the positive that we seem to have found a goalscorer. 5 adrift but still in the fight, one more tough game on Saturday before a run of winnable fixtures.

Sounds like Morsy is playing brilliantly for Wigan as well. Wish he'd have stayed and signed for us as expected, couldn't understand why he wasn't getting in their team. Good player.

Gary Caldwell is a clueless fool that's why. There's a good reason why he'll be managing in L2 next season. Morsy is our best player, him and Bogle will be the reason we stay up if we do.

Just been scanning the fixture list and I didn't realise just how important our next 7 games are after Saturday.

Wolves (A)
Preston (H)
QPR (A)
Notts Forest (H)
Blackburn (A)
Birmingham (A)
Bristol City (H)

Without sounding arrogant, we should be going into every one of those games thinking we can win. By the time we've played all of them, we'll know for sure whether we're going down or taking the fight to the last 9 games of the season. Lose against Blackburn and I think we're probably done for regardless.

Burton, Wigan and Rotherham to drop for me.

A shame from an away trip perspective.

Aye, that would be the ideal scenario, Scunthorpe can fuck off but fancy them to last the pace.

Still losing three decent trips though, Rotherham are gone so hopefully Bristol City and QPR can join them, doubt it though.

Bad results all round today, only Blackburn can be remotely content.

Poor day for all of us. Massive fucking setback for us, sack Johnson now or we're going to be scrapping until the final day.

Sat inside that Nandos outside Euston reflecting on Omar Bogle missing a one on one at 2-1 which surely would have clinched us three points He's a very good player and will go to bigger and better places than us one day, but he has to be more clinical. We're not Grimsby, we're 23rd in the league and every missed chance costs us. Starting to believe we don't have the mental toughness to get out of this. We can't hold a lead and that winner was probably what we deserved on reflection. Didn't do much damage in terms of the table but mentally the players looked like a team going down at the end.

Errrr we drew to Rotherham... Everyone else may have lost but we missed our huge chance today to climb out of the drop zone.
