Well as this is a rare occasion when my friends out west aren't coming up for the game, and I've nothing particular to be up early for tomorrow I will be in the pub before, and possible after the match. Yeyy! We've gotta win now!

i think tonight depends how Carlisle approach the game. If you attack us and try to out play us, I think you will play into our hands and we will pick u off and win comfortably. If u turn it into an arm wrestle and sit plenty of men behind the ball it could go either way. Idd take a point though in what is bar Plymouth at home, our toughest fixture left to play.

I think you have that wrong. If we sit back and try to keep things tight we'll get a pasting because we simply cannot defend.

Our only hope is to outscore you, which probably won't work either.

Yeah, what HG said... despite our recent form you're not up against someone fighting relegation here who's only hope is eleven men behind the ball.

This could be another tragic second half to a season on record breaking levels.

Not sure we could take it as fans after what happened in 2014 and 2016 at exactly this time of the year

Great win, needed that so much. The performance was also much better than Saturday, Proctor was superb up top. I still think we're a bit dodgy at the back but just happy to get the big win.

Didn't think Doncaster were great, had some big chances but didn't really trouble Gillespie. We could've had a few more too though. Can't believe that Donny player wasn't booked for diving in the box, shoddy's right about the constant gamesmanship.

Deserved that for pure hard work if nothing else.

I think we played quite well, not outstanding but did enough. We've played much better than that this season and not won.

First half Doncaster had a glorious chance to go ahead after a good passing move, but Marquis(I think) blazed the easy chance miles over. We went ahead through a good goal and held on til half time.

Second half I expected a Doncaster response but it didn't really come. We created more chances, Adams nearly scored again and Raynes put a free header over from 2 yards out, lambe also wasted a good chance. Then we got a fortunate but deserved second goal. Game over... oh so we thought...

After defending so well (by our standards) we go 2-0 up and then sit deep which for us is asking for trouble. We are the very definition of attack being the best form of defence so sitting back was a stupid tactic...

So in stoppage time we concede a really shit sloppy goal... cue mass panic for the last few minutes. Honestly thought we were going to fuck it up.

Thankfully we held on.

Proctor was good again, prefer him with a strike partner though. O'Sullivan and Adams were also excellent.

Who is this poster and why is he so disrespectful to us?

I signed up to this forum only a few days ago and I am in total shock for the first time at how someone can be so mean to another club. :(

I would tend to agree, until our first goal i was head-in-hands, typical sloppy play. After we scored (fantastic goal by the way) we didn't exactly become any less sloppy but we found the belief that has been badly lacking recently and fought for the victory. Helped a little by Doncaster's usually clinical forwards underperforming but still almost thrown away at the end. We have talented players, so when we're as sloppy as we are it becomes a little like a game on FIFA.

hoop has been around since the TFF days

I hope he doesn't insult us again because I'm starting to get this bitter feeling in me when he does and it makes me want to lash out and shout some really nasty stuff. :ohm:

One thing I will shout though is WHAT A BRILLIANT WIN THAT WAS TONIGHT!!!

how long do you plan to keep this politeness up Carver? I don't like it. I keep feeling like if I look outside the horses will be eating each other.

Missing our two centre halfs didn't help nor that both Williams and Marquis have hit a poor run at the same time. We had to lose sometime so hopefully it's out of the way and we resume our winning ways on Saturday
