Your indiscipline really cost you that day, the other lad who was sent off was on a yellow and just decided to be a gobby prick to the referee. Silly behaviour really.
The other daft thing about Shackell's yellow was that the ref said he didn't realise he was already on a yellow and probably wouldn't have sent him off! That shouldn't matter.

That's quite interesting. As you rightly say it shouldn't matter as a yellow card offence is a yellow card offence regardless if you have already had one or not.

That was Kyle Knoyle, our right back. If I recall correctly it was a clean tackle by the touchline and Andrade decided to just lash out and kick Knoyle - in fact I looked back at the BBC report (which I know isn't gospel) which seems to backup my memory -

"The game really got going in the 33rd minute when Bruno Andrade raked his foot down the Achilles of Kyle Knoyle after the Swindon right-back won the ball fairly and Andrade was swiftly shown a straight red card. "

Yep no doubt about it, expect better from our senior outfield pro in Shackell.
With him on we probably win that game.
Drawn a few more than I'd like but not going to complain too much, to average 2 points a game after 40 games aint too shabby.

Always easy to say if and buts..

If Jay Harris hadn’t been a moron we’d probably have put 5 or 6 past Swindon at their place, such is life.

Toner is a very poor ref. Gave York a penalty against in the FA trophy semi final after consulting his linesman and changing his mind after he had the better view and not giving it, the linesman had a view obstructed by players of the incident.

Very true but like I say averaging 2 points a game at this stage is bloody good.

Indeed, it’ll be interesting to see how Lincoln go in league one next year, must be your first time at that level in a very long time? I don’t remember you being up there while I’ve supported Rovers for 25 or so years.

1998/99 the last time were were in L1 (or Division 2 as it was called then).

Wouldn't disagree with that statement either Tranmerewhite, first 20 minutes you tore us apart without doing anything too fancy. Our centre backs were a calamity and 2 fairly basic long balls caused absolute chaos to give you a cushion.

That red changed the game completely.

It wasn't know as League Two Lincoln for nothing!

Us, Macclesfield and Rochdale had a period of never seemed to leave.

Having had only 1 penalty all season for some bizarre reason, the EFL have gone one step further for tomorrow’s match and one of the officials is called Oldham.

I started going in 1982 and had just begun a 5 year spell in the old third division, we stopped there until 1986.
We were then favourites to win division four only to get relegated out the league on the last day. Back up 1988.
Promoted in 1998 in third place with just 75 points, straight back down out of a division with Manchester city , Stoke and Fulham! . Nearly promoted via the playoffs between 2003 and 2007. Relegated 2011 before it went crazy in 2016.
Not been in the second tier since 1961, just as the maximum wage was abolished. Been a very long since those days, long before I was born lol!

Wonder if Oldham will turn up tomorrow? Probably water the pitch again.

If we play at the same level as we did second half on Saturday I’d be surprised if it wasn’t a very one sided game. Hopefully no complacency though.
They seemed to turn up on Saturday though and beat Grimsby fairly comfortably.

While I agree if Rovers play like 2nd half Saturday should win, play like the 1st half and we’re in danger of losing.

That's not an achievement and they don't need to turn up to beat us, we've been holiday for a month

Tranny at almost 2/1 to win at Oldham with some bookies has to be decent value

I agree to an extent. however this great run that Tranmere are on has to end at some stage and so I would find it hard to back them using that logic. Oldham draw no bet would be where I would be looking if I was going to have a punt.

Well everything seems to be going wrong for us on and off the pitch at the perfect time. Losing star players and players and staff remain unpaid.

Great.

I thought all your financial troubles were more or less sorted?

That's about 4 or 5 clubs now that have players and staff paid late, something to do with this time of the year? (end of tax year approaching maybe)

5 point deduction for each week late on wages seems fair.

Well it seemed that way, but it turns out that perhaps all is not as it seems. I think the hangover left from the previous reckless regime will haunt us for a while yet.

Yep, those odds on the Trannies beating us is a license to print money and I'll slapping them in an acca.

£15 on Watford (H vs Fulham), Bury (H vs Cambridge) and Tranmere (A vs Oldham) pays £107.

You’re backing a team that hasn’t been paid to win?

Why not? Bolton's players weren't paid last week and they won. Macclesfield got a draw against us.
