Cook gone, 24-2. This one surely can't go the full 5 days

What a mad game!

Moeen firmly establishing himself as the number one spinner with 10 wickets @ 19.2 in the series to date.

Cracking afternoon to watch missed the entire 1st session unintentionally through not waking up which I'm now quite glad about. It should be over inside 3 days I reckon , we could do with a 50 or 60 lead and that should just about do it imo.

We've been involved in some fantastic tests over the past 18 months.

Rashid and Woakes given us a lead - good work again by the lower order.

Is Iqbal playing on a different wicket to everyone else or is he the second coming of Bradman?

Rashid bowling to a field with 5 men on the boundary. I'm not sure whether to call that incredibly inept by Cook or merely him showing no confidence in his spinner - not a good look either way. I know he was getting some treatment but you've got to give him a bit of help in trying to force a wicket, not just restrict Bangladesh to easy singles in a low scoring game because Rash is bowling a few boundary balls

Yeah, it doesn't help if your spinners are unable to bowl the same ball twice but if you're setting them up with a long off and long on you're not giving them a chance - they'll never be able to build up pressure even if they bowl well. We're so quick to take out the close catchers as well.

The bowlers get plenty of stick but Cook's not had a good Test

Cook for some reason wasn't there today, no often you can say that. A lot of baffling decisions on his part.

This has been an embarrassing tour to date. Losing a test match to a team with Bangladesh's test history and ranking doesn't bear thinking about but looks quite likely to happen in this match after only having been very narrowly avoided in the first match.

I've revised my view about the upcoming tour of India. Unusually I find myself in agreement with Boycott Lite and think a 5-0 series defeat is a very distinct possibility.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I can't help feeling that Ian Bell at four would have been the way to go this winter.

Get a fucking grip forget banglas history there a fucking massively improved nation and if anyone actually played them they would win the odd test without a doubt.

Great fight back from the two openers, Duckett in particular is playing beautifully.

Gutted for Duckett, going superbly and then he gets that first ball after tea. hopefully that's not a sign of how the wicket's going to start behaving

Well that was a pretty dramatic collapse. They are not a bad side at all and other nations need to start playing here so they can build as a whole.

It's not going very well for South Africa in Perth at the moment. If not for their middle order, who scored all of their runs, they'd be completely screwed. Warner got very lucky before - given not out on an lbw. South Africa reviewed it and it was pretty plum but it turned out to be a no ball. Ouch. Still, lovely to see live cricket on BT.

I might be late to this, but I like how Bumble is using his twitter feed just to troll India fans at the moment.

What's the coverage and commentary like on BT? Hopefully it's good for The Ashes.

I didn't actually have the sound on for most of it. I'm not sure if they were using their own commentators or just using the Aussie ones. I know KP was involved...

Why are Sky no longer covering Australia? Or the Ashes? Nobody will compare to the Sky commentary team.

Because BT bought the rights for home Australian tests. I'm pleased on a purely selfish level because I don't have Sky. The Sky team is mostly pretty good but not having to listen to Botham will be nice.

BT bought the rights to air all Australian home matches, so nowt Sky can do there really.

They only buy the right prior to tours really, but BT got in there long before for The Ashes. Shame really as I like the insight on Sky, especially Nasser.

On a related note, I much prefer the ITV cricket highlights to channel 5. They actually show the action, instead of competitions and the utterly unfuckingbearable Mark Nicholas talking shite.

Bloody hell, that's some collapse from 'straya. They were 150-0 and looked like they were going to take a huge first-innings lead and ended up with a lead of 2.

Bad news for South Africa with Steyn out injured for the rest of the tour.
