Ron Saunders was the last man to do anything at Villa. Would have thought your fella may be under a bit of pressure after squandering the Roofe/O'Dowda money.

We're above you in the league. How on earth did that happen seeing as we've been total shite all season?

Is this what 'trolling' is?

Genuinely, no. Trolling might be saying something you don't think will happen to get a reaction. What you have there from me is a prediction. Whilst you might disagree with it, I think the expectation that Sherwood wont do much better with Swindon than he did with Villa is a perfectly reasonable one and not something to cry about it.

You are more than welcome to predict of course, however I am confident that there are 4 teams worse than us in this pretty sub-standard league. We did look much better on Saturday against Charlton, we tried to mix it up much more and helped by the fact Charlton were without 4 first-team players we took advantage and scored a couple of decent goals (the first was totally jammy).

Having looked at the recent managers at Villa, its fair to say they were on a bit of a downward spiral when he was there, which started with Paul Lambert. In fact Sherwood's win % was 35.71 which is not great, but a shade worse than David O'Leary and Gerard Houllier and a mile better than Remi Garde and Di Matteo. Time will tell how he does but I am happy that we are making a change and trying to get us away from towards the foot of the table.

P.s I don't cry over anything football related, merely trying to have a discussion.

I can think of one off the top of my head.

They will be fine I reckon, they have a good enough side for them to stay in this league. Fairly confident we'll have another couple of league derbies with them next season in this division.

You are all talking like him already. No one but Sherwood cares about win percentage and he wouldn't if it didn't skew the perception that he underachieved in both roles.

As for the people who followed him at Villa, couldn't that have anything to do with the team he built over the summer?

How do you judge a manager's performance at a club then without win %? I simply googled (other search engines are available) managers at Aston Villa and the big list included their win % which suggests more than just Mr Sherwood cares about them.

Agree with you that the start of the 2015 season was disastrous.

Anyway I don't really want to descend into an argument about Tim Sherwood anyway, he may do well, he may do badly. You think we'll go down, I don't. Lets just agree to disagree.
