Bradford City
Most Important Player:
Rory McArdle, puts his body on the line time and time again
One to Watch this season:
Romain Vincelot looks like a great signing, always looked good against us
Best Player:
Darby/Meredith two of the leagues best full backs in my opinion
Worst Player:
Billy Clarke, bit harsh maybe but I don't think he's good enough for this level, confindence looks shot, first touch is awful at times, guilty of missing chances that he should be putting away. Hope I'm wrong and he improves under McCall
Game Looking forward to Most:
The Bolton games should be good.........
One Player you would take from any other team in the league and why?:
Bradley Dack - really impressive against us
Nicky Ajose - goals
Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Oldham, easy to get to, we usually take a good following
End of Season Prediction:
5th - if we can acquire a goal scorer

I like that several different people seem to be bringing up the thought that they have the best set of full backs in the league. Possibly the least important of all the positions.

An ex-England left back and a right back who made it into this boards team of the season last year. :bg:

What I'm pointing out more than anything is that if your raving about your full backs then the rest of your side needs some attention.

Well if their stopping crosses coming in then getting forward and creating goals then it probably doesn't

Jeez so other than one millwall fan everyone else thinks their side is pretty average. Should be entertaining.

Most Important Player:
Nathan Thompson, been the spine of our defence for years and will continue to be until he inevitably moves on. Which will be soon.
One to Watch this season:
John Goddard - signed from Woking, done very well in the conference and is highly rated at Woking. Big step up but will be a very good signing should he fulfill his potential.
Best Player:
John obika - again, not a player that will be with us much longer after rejecting a new deal, but a very good player who doesn't just score goals but also holds the ball up superbly. All round player.
Worst Player:
Take your pick. This year's team is a shambles and I'm not looking forward to it whatsoever. Anton Rodgers is one that is not league two quality never mind league one. Branco another who isn't nowhere near good enough, however there's another of players that aren't.
Game Looking forward to Most:
The obvious one Oxford, always a good Derby. Bristol Rovers will be another good one as haven't been there for a while. Football aside the games this season look intriguing, especially with how northern the league was last year.
One Player you would take from anyother team in the league and why?:
Tom Bradshaw - fantastic player who has it all as a striker. What I've seen of him he can finish as well as everything else. A complete striker, of which we haven't had since Charlie Austin.
Stadium most looking forward to Visiting:
Oxford, Charlton away will also be good. Last time we played there we went on to win on penalties in the playoffs. Scenes.
End of Season Prediction:
Will be a miserable campaign unless power can do an absolute miracle of which will never happen. He's said he will learn from his mistakes and recruit early, which was another lie to Swindon fans. It's sad because a club of which was once very much challengers every season has now changed to relegation favourites with a chairman who only wants to make money and a team which undoubtedly wouldn't challenge in league two.

22nd.

Tom Bradshaw isn't a league one player.

Memorial Stadium (Bristol Rovers) - new ground for me
End of Season Prediction:
Top third of the table

Nope, wrong again I'm afraid.

We played each other the following season as you lost in the final.

Team Name: Oxford United

Most Important Player: They've all gone. Right now it has to be John Lundstram, a midfielder who tends to sit deep and try and dictate the pace of the game a bit. Not a cruncher by any means.

One to Watch this season: The brightest young stars from our promotion campaign have left. Maguire, playing as a winger or forward, could be one of our best hopes for really stepping up but he is already in his prime yeas. He has obvious ability but flitted in and out of games, performing best against Swansea in front of the cameras but also shining during the run-in. He takes set pieces and the drop off from him is massive.

Otherwise, an injured Rob Hall returning to Oxford and will hopefully find his goalscoring boots again in the second half of the season.

Best Player: Lundstram.

Worst Player: Bit harsh to slate some kid based on a couple of friendlies. I'm worried we won't score enough, and no one has a kind word to say about signing Eastwood as our starting GK.

Game Looking forward to Most: The opener, Swindon H/A, Coventry A. It's been a long time since we've been even this high in the pyramid so I am sure to have a great time.

One Player you would take from anyother team in the league and why?: George Baldock because he's brilliant, looks great and I don't know anything about League One. I'm not even worried about RB I just don't know any players.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting: Coventry.

End of Season Prediction: Oh God. If I think with my head, I worry that we're in the five worst teams on paper. Optimism - 20th.

It's funny because most Swindon fans are looking at your squad and are slightly worried you will be overtaking us unless Power pulls his finger out.

Well, yes and no to that. Losing your best players and replacing them aint easy - no matter how many you sign. They will never be as good as.

In my opinion, they have lost quality and replaced with inferior quantity. Still looks good enough to have a scare-free season, though.

Thought Oxford had made a few decent signings this summer (Nelson, Riberio, Crowley) and seem to have a decent manger, they should be a lot higher than 20th.

Team Name: Bradford City

Most Important Player: Probably Rory McArdle. A big part of our spine and very dependable.

One to Watch this season: Paul Anderson. Unlucky last season due to injury, if he performs as well as his potential then he could be the stand out player for the season. Seems like a decent guy, so hopefully he can kick on this season with us.

Best Player: No one stands out, I'll go McArdle just because of how important I believe he is for us.

Worst Player: Still not convinced by Tony McMahon.

Game Looking forward to Most: All as important as eachother, not one really stands out.

One Player you would take from anyother team in the league and why?: Ajose or Madden. Our squad massively lacks goals.

Stadium most looking forward to Visiting: Any of the ones I haven't been to (Oxford, Wimbledon, MK Dons)

End of Season Prediction: Just missing out on the play offs by 4 points, 9th.

Possibly, remains to be seen how their replacements get on of course. On the face of it though I think they've done well in building for League 1. Wes Thomas for example is a striker we'd have liked to have returned here (though never going to happen after how his loan spell went last season).

I think currently they finish higher than us for sure. Hopefully that will change once we've finalised our squad.

I actually don't think we have got enough players in, so the quantity over quality remark puzzles me a bit.

We lost Slocombe, Crocombe, Wright, Mullins, Kenny, Evans, O'Dowda, Roofe, Hylton, Waring and Bowery, off the top of my head. That's a lot of bodies to replace.

All that said, I had you lot down as one of the five worst too
