Too early to put Torquay in that mix (looking doomed), though not getting anything from yesterday's game given Sutton's lack of a proper goalie for the vast majority of the game was poor. Southport look in real danger, which would be a shame, as I've enjoyed our trips to Haig Avenue.

We are down, Nicholson is just clueless, we had two shots all game and scored them both yet created nothing else in the 80 mins that their keeper was injured/the right back was in goal. Takes off Brett Williams after 65 mins for Shaun 'Prolific' Harrad (7 goals in his last 70 games). The club is dying and relegation will kill the club off completely and allow GI to redevelop Plainmoor. Can't see us winning any of our six pointers, we can beat FGR and Gateshead yet look at our record against bottom 8 sides around us;

North Ferriby L
Southport L
York WD
Maidstone LL
Woking LL
Guiseley L
Braintree W
Sutton LL

York, North Ferriby and ourselves look doomed, who's the 4th joining us?

Our record isn't much better, you're the only team we seem incapable of losing to.

North Ferriby D
Southport LD
York L
Maidstone W
Guiseley DD
Braintree L
Sutton L
Torquay WW

Southport look more doomed than anyone else. They're in even shitter form than Eastleigh

Ours:
York - DD
Braintree - WD
NFU - WL
Guiseley - DL
Torquay - WW
Sutton - D
Southport - L
Woking - L

P13, W4, D4, L5, not too bad but we'll probably need a couple of wins in the last 3 to play.

4 wins in 13 games against our relegation rivals is very bad.

Out of interest eastleigh have picked up 3 points so far in 2017 still have:

Aldershot
Barrow
Gateshead
Dagenham
Lincoln
Wrexham

The relegation fight may have an extra special late guest booked in

They'll double that on Tuesday night, we've never beaten Eastleigh and are due a defeat.

As for us yesterday we were outstanding, got a bit of luck with Arnold's mishit cross, but after that there was only one winner. Been critical of McClure this season but his strike towards the end was something special.

I still dont think we'll make the playoffs although if we beat Eastleigh on Tuesday I might start dreaming.

Having played both Eastleigh and Aldershot recently I can only see a convincing Aldershot victory.

Ronnie has a knack of scraping results when his team has been battered he did it at our place for years, as napoleon bonepart noted: sometimes lucky generals are more useful then talented generals.

We've beated Eastleigh 3-0 at theirs, Aldershot 2-0 at ours and got a 0-0 at the recc, which we should have won. We've just emerged from a nightmare couple of months and have players playing in their correct positions and almost no injuries.

Sorry railway blue:

' eastleigh also have a tricky game against our roman welsh friends from down the new chester road, hopefully resulting in 3 points for the seals ( if you still use that since your move) plunging the southerners nearer to their rightful place in conf south or even french division 4 whilst launching chester towards their natural position in the football league' .

Does that make up xx

Funnily enough the younger fans do whilst the older fans who were around at that time generally dislike it.

Odd.
