Didn't feel very flattering to lose 6-0 tbh.

Full credit to Wrexham, absolute top quality side. Deserve to go up.

Such a shame that we might get into the playoffs - because if we do, whichever side we play will kick the shit out of us and have a great day at Wembley. What a horrible, horrible last couple of months it's been. End the season now and stick us in mid table where we belong.

We wouldn't (although we attempted that today with an awful challenge). It's like we've got so close to achieving something huge and just froze. Not that we really should be complaining given the doldrums we've been in since we originally left the league in the 70s.

That was even worse than the Forest Green game. Think we've got 11 senior players out at the moment and finished the game with a lot of kids on the pitch but it still doesn't really excuse that performance. Think the players have run out of gas, we need some bodies back quickly.

More of the same from us today. A bit better than average but really not good enough.
Hopefully we build on this squad for a top 7 tilt next season

First half was even but you could tell the wind was affecting the game one way which Crewe didn’t utilise. Fortunate first goal but we don’t usually get luck like that.

Aside from a 5-minute spell, the second half was utter domination, partly due to Crewe’s bare squad but also because we used the wind really really well.

Curtis Thompson is some player. If we can keep him fit and add some quality in centre mid then we might do a lot better next season.

Absolute domination from us today, Artell said it’s been coming and I’d agree with him.

Still can’t believe we’re even in this position, I’m still convinced we’re not that bad.

Congrats to both Stockport & Wrexham, thoroughly deserved

Both had a bit of wobble but came back strong.

Got to hand it to Phil Parkinson, he's under pressure and done the business. No doubt you've been well funded but plenty of well backed teams fail.
Well funded? It’s like saying a few people live in Tokyo

Their aim was promotion, they got promoted. I dont think he's owt special at all but he's been successful. No need to ask for more.

On the finances they are clearly L1 level so next season will be a far better barometer.

Didn't realise our recent record against you was quite that bad.
And we used to quite enjoy our trips to Cleethorpes where we'd often win.
No doubt you were the better team today - we've got several players out injured but that was pretty dire from us and we never really threatened apart from maybe 5 mins in the second half.
On this kind of form we'll definitely still be in this league come August.
Yeah it’s only been recently well last 2 seasons basically, previously it was you that always used to beat us:

Rovers first win at the Dave to seal a 100% win record in Wales this season.

Congratulations to Stockport and Wrecsam on their promotions. Both look capable of holding their own at the higher level with current squads, maybe much more if summer recruitment is good.

Mansfield almost there after an excellent win today.

Congratulations to Stockport and Wrexham fans. Enjoy.

Though when it comes to our Welsh friends, promotion was the only option this season given their budget/finances. Be interesting to see how big they go again in the summer

Well done Wrexham and I think I speak for all League 2 fans by saying it’s good to have you out of the way for next season.

Bet you're relieved we're out of the way for next season too, if we'd stayed up we probably would have stormed to the title next season or something.

Agents of League Two players have had a terrible day.

Congratulations to Wrexham and Stockport (and Mansfield too, let's be honest). Well deserved.

Barrow just aren't strong enough to be a play off side that's 3 defeats in a row now. Time you made way for a more capable club to be up there.

You're a million miles away from being a L1 club.

Being a L1 club isn't easy tbf. As you've found out this season. Big step up.

Jumped up little non-league clubs get eaten alive in L1.

We just had some misfortunes.

FGR all but relegated, 2nd in two seasons and apparently record for a former League 2 champions to then suffer two consecutive relegations.

Will Dale Vince remove those embarrassing stars from back of shirt?

Actually Vince has regularly boasted that he wants FGR in Championship. But his actions defy that ambition. He regularly sacks the clubs best managers and replaces them with novices.

He sacked Ady Pennock when Pennock took club to promotion play-offs.

He sacked Mark Cooper when Cooper took club to promotion play-offs.

And replaced them both with the youth team coaches who in both cases failed to get club promoted.

Basically FGR could have been promoted to EFL two seasons sooner.

Rob Edwards won title with Cooper’s set of players. Probably very wise that he resigned before Vince had chance to sack him.

This year club has employed 5 different head coaches: - Duncan Ferguson, Hannah Dingley, David Horseman, Troy Deeney & Steve Cotterill. Chaos to the core.

I cannot see FGR returning to League football for at least 19 years (same length of time they spent in Conference)

It depends how much Vince is willing to pump in now you would have thought ? the NL like league 2 looks like it will be weaker next season with not as many big hitters .

I think given a summer Coterill will do a good job , he's a decent manager in the lower leagues so just having him should help aswell .

Bet you're relieved we're out of the way for next season too, if we'd stayed up we probably would have stormed to the title next season or something.
Probably wouldn't mind Colchester going aswell for the same reason , no doubt they will be a lot better next season with those brothers in charge .
