Predictions for top 6

That would be funny to watch. When koumas came back to our place despite his legs being shot he was spraying passes to where he believed a prem/championship standard player would be making a run only to find our headless chickens had madecompletely the opposite runs or not moved at all..... Imagine how frustrated suarez would get

I'm not sure how anyone can predict who will do well at this stage, most teams probably can't even field a full 11 (we currently have 8 players)

I'm gobsmacked Turnbull is 6'. He looks tiny.

A for us, I don't think we'll be Top 6. Last season, the Cowleys chose to keep most of the Braintree squad and add 4 or 5 players. This time, they were lumbered with 11 I think. Some of those 11 they'd keep but through choice, I think they'd have released 3 or 4 of them.

Mind you, we've not signed any strikers yet. If we can add a half decent, pacey striker to the Cowley forte, which seems to be defensive solidity then we might sneak in but gut feeling at the minute is 9th/10th.

I got Turnbulls height of wiki and 2 of the others i know are 6'+ but don't know the exact height so put down the conservative 6'0" (Wiliams and Howarth) - we had the same issue this season with 3 players who didn't fit the Cox way and all had a year left - they were all told they could look for other clubs - Grimes and Ashton found deals with Southport so they remaining 12 months were mutually cancelled - leaving only Mellor.

We kind of had the same situation last summer with a few after Wilkin got sacked. We finished the season with caretaker managers so Mills wouldn't have seen them play, that means that the one's offered another contract wouldn't have been 100% Mills' choice. I'm guessing he would have asked the board for their opinions and he trusted them and last season he got to see what they could do, hence the clear-out.

I'd have put money on Turnbull being 6ft without having to look it up.

Well what a shame it would be to let all the Positive Momentum™ that was built up over the past season go to waste.

My money's on FGR this year closely followed by Tranmere,Eastleigh & Dagenham. I also think Torquay will be much improved.

We're really going to disappoint this year, I can sense it. Everyone is tipping us to do well.

I don't know the league well enough to be that informed but other than the obvious ones, I can see Lincoln doing well.
