Solihull at home on the opening day in a battle of the Feeder league champs. Both sides will see it as a good chance to pick up 3 points. We're then away against two of the fancied teams in succession, Forest Green and Lincoln

How many do you think you'd bring? Forgot you lot, i just skimmed our site for games and didn't see you.

So we're on telly first then, top of the league should we avoid defeat :D

Bootham Crescent is one of the few lower league grounds I've never been to and I won't be going this season as I'm in Benidorm when we're there. Maybe next year.

No problem with starting at Bromley. Ending at Maidstone, given the relatively small ticket allocation we'll get is a poor choice for final fixture if there's anything riding on it. Midweekers at Boreham Wood and Forest Green are not very fan-friendly, North Ferriby not that accessible, York about the easiest to get to. Personally would prefer relatively local games to be chosen for midweek so unsure why Imps/Minstermen clashes at that time are causing such consternation?

Bear in mind the stand ought to be built by that time, bringing capacity up to 4,200. You'll be fine.

What I don't get is why we didn't get a home Boxing Day match, as we are away again to Torquay like last year, surely it should be switched this season. Also for the 2nd year running we are away first and last game, plus potentially big games against Tranmere are both on Tuesday. Screwed by the league on fixtures yet again.

Yeah, but I highly doubt you'd allocate them 1,000 which is probably what they'd take. Well, more if allocated it.

Leaving 3,200 for us? I think we would.

Now I've simmered down a bit - no disrespect to our opponents, but 100% we should be taking six points from those first two home matches. 100%.

We had Lincoln away 3 Boxing Days in a row, until Lincoln requested someone different and so they got Alfreton the next year whilst we had Macclesfield.
The change worked for Lincoln as those 3 Boxing Days we won the lot but the next season we played there on a Tuesday night and lost 3 - 2.

We only have one Saturday home game in September.
Odd we start and finish away too.

Considering we're an 'unpopular part-timer', the league has given us a decent set of fixtures.

As a result, though, I'm expecting a huge reffing out BACKLASH.

Any idea what the playoff dates are? If they've been announced, my Googling skills aren't up to scratch.

Because Lincoln played us away on a Tuesday last time we we're in the conference. York is a pretty attractive away day on a Saturday given the amount of decent pubs we have, plus you've got a really high chance of picking up 3 points.

And it's one of our more local games and would attract a decent away following.

Eastleigh away for us, oh well it's one of the longest trips done with in hopefully reasonable weather!

Dagenham & Redbridge away for us,it'll be interesting to see if they're as bad a team as the one we put out of the FA Cup 2 seasons ago.

Nice of the National League to give us a nice local game with Forest Green (170 miles away) on August Bank Holiday Monday, and another short trip to Dover (300 miles away) on Good Friday. Seriously, what the actual fuck? I'm sure the roads will be absolutely clear on both of those days too!

fantastic intro to the national. york city live on tv. could be the biggest away following to land at the gallagher since we've been there. margate turned up with 500, and that's the most we've had to date.will we see a 4 figure number of away fans for the first time. probably have to make this one all ticket i guess,

They may have if it was still a 3pm start, but no way they'll top Margate with it being on the telly.

Talking of Good Friday, Gateshead have to travel down to Sutton. That will be fun
