Were you there that time they nearly postponed the game as the stand had bits coming off it, the Fire Brigade had to come round before kick off and check the roof of the away end as several tin sheets had come flying off it during the pre match warm up, must of been early 2003/4 think we ended up winning 2-0 in the worst pissing down rain ever.

More than we took to Stockport last midweek. Was a fair enough effort given form and a familiar ground now. 7th time now. Handful of lads did go to Wembley who may otherwise have made the trip

Looks like a 50-50 shot. Torquay, Guiseley and Chester are gone, with one of Solihull, Barrow, Woking or Maidstone to join them. Halifax and Pools the longer shots, but both decidedly Northern. National League is going to be more south-eastern than ever next year, unless Truro come up in the playoffs and Barnet somehow Martin Allen themselves out of peril.

Would have been more if it wasn't for the horrendous traffic on the M40. Saw on our fans facebook group that quite a few that left later than the coaches turned round and went back. To get close to last year's tour of duty number was excellent!
