Just when you think the quality of football on show at Valley Parade couldn’t get any worse. Honestly, this is the worst 30 mins of football I have ever seen. I use the term ‘football’ loosely.

Fair play to Morecambe for actually wanting to play a bit. They create fuck all, but at least it’s easier on the eye to watch than our dross.

We look fairly lethargic but lead and seem to be in control in the main. Not sure what happened with the goal, if it was meant or not but great chip!

Decent half of football that. Think we are good value for the lead though were just getting a little bit sloppy with our work at the end of the half.

Like their right back Welch-Hayes, need to keep an eye on him second half as he has looked quite threatening.

Well with Limbricks last game in charge we've had more of the ball without really doing anything with it, one half chance towards the end for Hess.

Salford look more composed on the ball when they have it and Rooney had a decent chances otherwise not much happening.

I worried we’d get through that first half without the famous Westley time out. Thankfully it came around the 40 minute mark.

Got into it a bit more, in large part because I think Exeter have dropped down a gear, but they deserve their lead and we've only made a few half chances. Hope a half-time rocket up the arse might get us going but will need fewer aimless long punts too.

Carlisle's tactics have been so badly thought out. Beech clearly sent them out with an uber aggressive attitude and it's backfired badly. Giving away silly fouls, not pressing as a team, we've just picked holes all over the pitch. We've been brilliant, but Carlisle have been abject.

The goals we've scored though, 1st and 2nd were total football, the 4th will be in the goal of the month awards I think. Need to stay professional and get a clean sheet now.

What is it about Crewe always moaning that other teams are uber aggressive when they're one of the most shithousey teams out there? They could play Barcelona and they'd still moan that the opposition manager sent his players out there to rough the Crewe players up and prevent them from playing their intricate passing football.

2-1 Macc now. Totally gone to sleep at the back having looked very comfortable before.

Ahkeem Rose has put us ahead late on, very glad for him as the abuse he's had from our fans the past few weeks has been disgusting. Could be the winner in an extremely poor game.

More of the same second half neither side really creating much. Salford miss an absolute sitter when it was easier to score and we go up the other end and score.

First win in 12 games, glad Limbrick ends his spell as caretaker manager with a win.

Now for Holloway to come in and try and move us forward

Another frustrating draw. Can feel annoyed as their second was from a break that was a clear foul but we’ve gone to sleep.
Luckily upped the gear to get level again but went flat again after that.

Disappointing fifteen minutes or so after halftime from Vale and cost us getting the three points. Not the worst result or performance but after the Swindon game would have hoped for more.

Slightly disappointed they once again switched off and failed to keep yet another clean sheet, but that first half was so good, I can't get too annoyed. Don't blame them too much for looking ahead to Barnsley either. Comfy 3 points. Roll on the FA Cup 3rd Round, been a while since I could say that.

Well, Atangana off almost straight away and you thought we had all the time we needed to turn it round, but Exeter well organised and we blew our two big chances, missed a pen and Ebou a sitter after Maxted could only punch it. Fair play to Exeter, earned that even if a bit dirty (not so much Atangana, studs up but don't think he was trying anything untoward, just mistimed it.)

Huge win for us to bounce back from the two defeats, one of the easiest victories we will get all season. Oldham just never showed up

Tough game that. Swindon devastating going forwards. We’ve got nothing up front. This window is vital. We NEED two strikers.

Late winner masks a lethargic performance. Always need an early goal to stop these games being absolute slogs and we missed two great chances really early on. Continued to miss loads of chances throughout and I was in the car half way home when the winner went in.

Stevenage were Stevenage. No quality and there for a point, can’t blame for that in their situation.

Wow! Not expecting that with such a depleted defence. Great advert for L2 football.

Argyle need a striker.

A very tough and tight game between 2 good sides I thought. As you say the difference was up front. I thought we could have sealed it with Woolery's pace but with our makeshift defence there was always going to be a chance that Plymouth could take something.

Very happy with 3 points against a team that are clearly going to challenge this season. Get your firepower in and you'll surely go up.

Oh and what was that helmet doing running on the pitch and flicking V's in front of our fans? I'll never understand the mentality of people who do that, what has anyone got to gain from doing that!

Fantastic result. Not sure about the red, completely changed the game as we looked comfortable before that. No complaints about the penalty, it was the Johnny Maxted show for us second half.
There is some real steel in the side this year, really happy with us at the moment

Yes, definitely changed it. Looked like high boot studs out into the knee right in front of the ref, but as I said think he just mistimed it as Frear (IIRC) was coming in fast. Probably an easy decision to make on the face of it though.

1st win in 9 games, happy days. Not 1, not 2 but 3 goals!

Basically that was a definition of Cambridge pressing the self-destruct buttons absolute madness.

What Lambe was playing at for the 2nd yellow was unreal.

Better from us though midfield remains a big concern, Maynard with a 2nd hat trick of the season. McDonald and Preston still dodgy as, though had a better 2nd. Having white back was massive. Sweeney in for Preston when he’s back fit.

I'm fcuking livid right now so I'll keep this brief. Well done Stags, fully deserved the 3 points today. No complaints from me.
