Looking at the teams coming into this league next year (compared to the North especially) if they don't do it next year, I don't think they ever will.

In fairness to Ebbsfleet, unlike Fylde, without the money they still have the support to be a National club. Commiserations to Joe.. I watched the last 10 minutes of ET, wicked cross from Bobby Joe Taylor for the last gasp equaliser which was begging for a head long before Dumaka slotted home.

Congratulations to Maidstone, just like Wimbledon, straight through the league via the play-offs. I don't imagine our paths will cross in the league for many a moon now.

Okay, a little more composed now.

It wasn't really a great game of football, but playoff finals rarely are. I didn't think either of their penalties should have been given, but we didn't get the rub off the ref all day unsurprisingly. Cracking goal by BJT to make it 1-1 and holy shit, try keeping your composure in the home end when your away lot equalises with the last kick of extra time.

I wish the best to Joe and all the genuine Fleet fans out there, the vast majority of whom are a good bunch and no different to ourselves regarding our feelings for our club. Straighten out the front office and you'll be a much more likable club again.

I will take 20th place next season right now if offered, and look forward to away fans complaining about the lack of tickets, the lack of being able to see, the lack of grass on our pitch, and hopefully the lack of points they take home.

Come on you MFing Stones.

Wow im waking up with one hell of a hangover tomorrow

I still cant believe we actually won!! 6 years ago i watching us over in Ashford with 2-300 people...next year we are in the Conference Premier. Its like im living in a dream world.

Can already picture it next season, we lose in the play off final to Dartford, completing the trio of Kent Clubs lost to in the final.

Honestly if we don't do it next year, we won't do it at all.

I haven't had that feeling when my team has been chasing promotion. Even when we lost on penalties to Shrewsbury in 2004, it was pretty clear that they were the better side so it was easier to accept. Still think that nothing can be worse than the way I felt after we lost to Torquay in 2001 and were relegated from the Football League.

The thing is, it wasn't a great game. Neither side were good, but Maidstone were slightly better. A draw was probably fair but to be that close and it be taken away. Cruel.

Actually ended up staying and watching Maidstone receive the Trophy. I was just routed to the spot.
