AFC Fylde (20) v Barrow (1)
Aldershot Town (19) v Eastleigh (13)
Boreham Wood (8) v Barnet (12)
Bromley (3) v Dover Athletic (11)
Chorley (24) v Wrexham (21)
Ebbsfleet United (23) v Dagenham & Redbridge (18)
FC Halifax Town (10) v Stockport County (5)
Hartlepool United (15) v Harrogate Town (4)
Maidenhead United (17) v Notts County (6)
Solihull Moors (7) v Chesterfield (22)
Sutton United (16) v Woking (9)
Torquay United (14) v Yeovil Town (2)

The New Year Day fixtures being the reverse of the Boxing Day fixtures usually throw up a few surprises. Teams that win easily on boxing day can then lose the return fixture, so don't be surprised if either Hartlepool beat Harrogate, Halifax beat Stockport or Torquay beat Yeovil.

We lose all away fixtures nowadays so Chorley should beat us.

Solihull have not won in 5 games
I went to Halifax on Saturday and we are totally devoid of any confidence, quality or fitness. I'm struggling to see how we get out the mess we are in if this takeover doesn't go through and we can finally get Sheridan paid up with the rest of the cronies he's brought with him.

confidence and even quality i can understand - but how can the team have no fitness at this stage of the season.

We sacked our fitness coach a few weeks back, sacked our head of recruitment yesterday. I think that says a lot about the state we are in on and off the field

Expecting Maidenhead to offer much more than they did on Boxing Day, but really there was a bit of a gulf in class evident there and we should be looking for another win.

Expect us to make a few changes again, Boldewijn almost certainly coming back in but maybe Dennis and Osborne as well. Our return to form has coincided with Ardley freshening it up and really using the whole squad again, and hope that’s now what we’ll do for the rest of the season. Even Tom Crawford has come into the fold from nowhere and done okay!

Maidenhead are better away from home than at home. The only team they have beat at home in the last 5 matches is Wrexham and we all know that Wrexham hardly get any points away. we beat them 4-0 away and could have had 7 or 8. You could improve on the home score.

We’re not that great away on smaller pitches generally, be very happy with a 0-1.

Our Fylde HELL will continue, despite the return of the mighty Josh Kay. Fat Danny Rowe will no doubt score and the ref will favour the rich, as per usual.

Hoping for a win but a point wouldn't be the end of the world having got 3 at Solihull. We should have enough to get the win mind.

With the team being freshened up again and the form being back with that I hope to get 6+ out of the next 3.

Not sure what to make of the Halifax game, worst team I've seen this season last week but then go and pick up an easy win on Satdee. County full of confidence anyway, almost every outfield player has scored this season, and hopefully a good 1,500+ away fans should make it a cracking atmosphere

Not much has changed since before our postponed Boxing Day game.

A win would be huge for us and would go some way to proving that we have turned a corner. Anything else and we would be relying once again on teams above us dropping points.

Ordinarily, a draw would be a decent result even if that sees us lose ground on 7th.

Think we will have our work cut out to nab a point if I’m honest.

Looking forward to Bees at Borehamwood Wood... For many I suspect this is closer than the Hive. I'm not convinced we will get anything from the game.... Too many false dawns with this set of players.

We're off to Sutton with no full backs at all (Casey injured and played a centre back at right back since August

No Poku in midfield who is our only decent midfielder

And no strikers as Tarpey (7 goals) and Hyde (13 goals) cannot play on plastic pitches.

So for me its Sutton 6 Woking 0

Three days ago I expected a relatively easy win at Torquay. Since two days ago I expect us to lose.

Shame I now have plans as with Taylor getting the elbow I would have gone to this one. Hopefully we will go with a more positive set up and attack Ebbsfleet as they were poor on Boxing Day even though we had 10 men for Half an hour.

Loads of quality in Boden, even Denton has his uses. The main problem on Saturday was a lack of spirit. We've got used to the other team snapping and snarling in our faces, something our team doesn't relish and is unable to reciprocate. Saturday therefore was a welcome day off for our lads.

What was especially disappointing from our point of view is that Stockport aren't even that good a team, and didn't have to work hard for their goals, in fact there wasn't a decent goal among them. I'd love to say, "expect a very different performance from our team on Saturday" but unfortunately we don't have the sort of players who'll take Boxing Day personally and come out on a mission to put it right.

Our website says there's 800 places for you in the East Stand and 1000 places on the North Terrace, which is odd because it was built to accommodate 4000.

I'm looking forward to coming on here on Wednesday night and claiming Stockport fans and staff thought they'd "made it" when they copped eyes on the stadium and took pictures of the East Stand.:ds:

We had a stinker not going to lie. Much improved the other day but it was only Chesterfield. Hard to call. Think it will be a tight one this time around.

As long as your defence can head the ball all day you should be ok, Solihull have one idea and only one, tonk it up to the forwards.
We should have beaten them on Boxing Day tbh, but away from home I suspect they will be a different prospect.

Stockport County.
Halifax were evidently overwhelmed on Boxing Day when they came to Edgeley Park. It happens. I'm not sure turning up in cream suits and taking selfies in the ground helped their cause.

It will be a different game tomorrow, they will be used to the mundane bi-weekly ground they play at. Score draw.
