Our unbeaten run continues but that was an absolutely shocking game. Neither side deserved any points from that showing. Paul Lewis scored the only goal, a header from a corner on his return from injury.
Your goal was a carbon copy of Cheltenhams opener against us last Saturday on 80 minutes. You really would think we'd learn wouldn't you. Someone ALWAYS switches off on a set piece and gifts a free header on goal. I can just see Kamdjo doing it next week against us at Boreham Wood. Now a must win/must not let them win game.

Couldn't score in a brothel. Defence leakier than a sieve with shrapnel damage. Au revoir Grimsby et al. Bonjour Gainsbrough.

You didn't watch us hit the post and give you a very decent game then?

If that's what World of Smile is like winning the league, christ knows how morgue like it is on a normal Saturday.

Congratulatind Cheltenham, excellent opener, helping hand from the ref for the second and then a professional performance.

In fairness, the game was long dead when you hit the post, and once we got our second we practically let you have the ball.

Words can't explain my emotions right now. I actually had a tear in my eye when the final whistle went. I always thought we could go up, and even from day one I thought we would be up there, but until it happens I never like to get ahead of myself. The scenes at the end were epic and strolling onto the pitch after watching all the others run onto it was very surreal.

Whilst I'm old enough to remember 1999, I was only 14 and not allowed to go to the Yeovil game on a Thursday night (I lived too far away) so to be there today was truly epic. I have absolutely loved this season and the Conference wasn't remotely as bad as I thought it may be (if we had lost a lot more I might feel differently). Halfway through the season my uncle and I were saying how we haven't seen a truly bad game and there's something to be said for some of the battling teams in this division.

I'm rambling now, but that could be down to the beers (and I'm not on the lash either...)

It could be worse, you could have your clubs board blaming the fans and players swearing at them.
Who was doing the swearing and when?

Terrible first half, Rovers played a bit better after the break, but Wrecsam mentally tougher and wanted it more.

Ill advised article from Palios in the programme about our fans not getting behind the team. OTT policing must have taken some hints from our Cheshire friends.

Congratulations to Cheltenham on their well-earned promotion and commiserations to Daggers, who'll be playing at this level again. Should also commiserate with Kidderminster and Welling, who are exiting this league in the wrong direction.

Cheltenham seem a decent club with largely good fans (apart from that Adelstein plum) and deserve to go up as theyve been the most consistent team in the league. Getting Gary Johnson in last season must be their best signing for a long time. If they hadn't gone up this season I think we'd have seen them diminish back into the solid non league side they once were.

We were shocking today and deserved everything we got - players already on their holidays. Nothing more to be said but just sums up our inconsistency.
Borehamwood were a decent side that played nice football - wouldn't mind them staying up although that away following (43) is embarrassing.

How?
Taking 20% of your home crowd is a great effort!!!!

Also noticed on Twitter that a few of the Chelts players were involved in a chant that sounded like 'Fuck Forest Green' #antitoplads

How could a club like Welling ever offend anyone?
You have obviously not seen all the youtube videos they have made, crying wolf and try to make out their the most hard done to club in non league.

It was only due to the ineptitude of us that they survived last season. Disappointing to see they didnt take advantage of their reprieve.

A few, or all of them? I'm pretty sure it was all of them. They also sang:

Johnson had a dream
Championes
We're on our way
The Tractor Song
Since I was young
We are going up

I'll try and find a whole setlist...

That was Tom Shaw's best game for us (after a decent game last week). Get the feeling that him and Burr had problems. Maybe he'll do it all season next.
Glad to hear it. Perhaps the sacking of Burr is a good thing for him.

Little things but I remember Tom Shaw having a golden chance v Welling last season in the 2-2 draw at our place. If only he had buried that....

Agree. Rubbish ground too which is falling apart. Not to mention that we never win there as well. Good riddance.

Awesome day today. We were comfortable from the moment Angus powered his header home.

Great scenes at the end, great atmosphere. Lovely to see Thea on the pitch celebrating with the current board and players too.

Also great to see Nathan Smith, Danny Racchi and Dan Lavercombe (all injured) join the fans in the away end and even start a chant or two!

Cannot believe we've actually done it!

Awful day all round - awful error from McNulty; awful referee; awful defending for the Wrexham 2nd; awful comments from the Chairman pre-match. But special mention goes to the dickheads from Wrexham who completely trashed the away end toilets that have not long been refurbished after they were trashed last time, in December, by Wrexham.
You've got decent fans, but your dickheads take the biscuit as the WORST (note, worst, not 'hardest' or any other childish connotation) fans to ever come here. Guaranteed bubble next year, so well done for ruining it for yourselves. Oh, and you can expect a second refurbishment bill shortly no doubt, so congratulations.

I thought they were the lyrics to one of the chants at first!
Anyway congratulations on your promotion. It's never easy, regardless of the level of the opposition. I'll save my opinions on your team until next week when I will have actually seen them play. They say there's no better place to have a party than in Macclesfield (!).

We have a small section of bell-end fans no doubt. They usually only go to the Chester games, this year theyve had Tranmere too.

There were a few new 'faces' in the home end too, stood staring at the away end. They're not normally there, or anywhere for that matter.
