Tonight see's Chester take on Tranmere Rovers in front of the camera's.
Followed by Saturdays games.

Shots v Imps
Braintree v Wrexham
Barrow v Sutton
Boreham v Bromley
Dover v Moors
FGR v Macc
Heed v Daggers
Stones v Port
NFU v Woking
Torquay v Guiseley
York V Eastleigh

There's a lot of demand for Chester v Tranmere tickets over on the Wirral, but the powers that be in Chester are once again doing all they can to stop this game from selling out.
Some tough fixtures for our rivals tomorrow. Aldershot v Lincoln looks quite meaty, as too do the games at the New Lawn and that athletics ground in Newcastle.

Not fancying us tomorrow, tbh, but I'm not sure whether that's because I was disappointed only to take a point on Tuesday.

We're waiting on Raggett and Long. The latter is almost certainly out but he was giving Wood a breather for the last 2 or 3 games so no biggy. Howe is more than capable to step in for Raggett but he's our best CB and you'd rather he was playing than not.

Margetts will probably start, although he's only made 5 sub appearances since he left us so he'll do well to get to 60-70 minutes.

Farman, Wood, Waterfall, Raggett / Howe, Habergham, Hawkridge, Woodyard, Power, Arnold, Rhead, Margetts

Up the Chester, Gateshead and Macc. A Tranmere, FGR, Dagenham, Aldershot acca is 28/1, so I might do these through to season end!

Been raining a lot and apparently the pitch doesn't look too good, lots of puddles so 50/50 chance of playing tomorrow

Logic would say that we will gain ground on Lincoln this weekend, but it's the national league so who knows.

First and foremost we need to beat Chester, if that results in us gaining ground on Lincoln then that's an added bonus. Probably 15 points away from securing playoffs so sooner that is done the better too.

Tranmere should win, we're without Shaw, Vassell, George and Akintunde (still), all injured.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Should be a big crowd and will be nice to have good away support.
Very difficult to predict which way it'll go, but I'm going 2-1 Shots with benyu and rendell scoring.
Probably our toughest test this side of the new year, so will show if we really are capable of competing at this end of the table.

Stopped raining and draining well, if it stays like this then it's definitely on!

Depending on what happens tomorrow it could be the end in all but name for York, NFU and Southport this weekend, and a win for us would be a massive, much needed step towards survival with possibly 3 weeks before our next game.

While I have nothing personal against the likes of yourselves, Torquay, Woking, Braintree, Sutton etc. I would really quite like at least two of you to go down to try and reduce the seemingly gradual southernisation of this league!

Being on top of a hill helps with drainage. Should be alright.
Yep,and that Cotswold brash lets the rain filter through. Should be pretty hopeful. Half expect Cooper to try two up top for this. Didn't work at Gateshead but after the recent Trophy game against Macc think might do well against them.

Strange tweet sent out by chester in midweek inviting everton supporters to the home end .

Now my interpretation of that is if you have a merseyside accent your presence will be accepted in the home end as long as you say you support everton if questioned!

I feel this is a ' read inbetween the lines' invitation for well behaved tranmere, oops sorry i mean everton supporters to turn up tonight as you will be allowed in .

Any chance of ours being off again Chester fans? 25th April is the only mid-week we've got free if it needs to be rearranged, which shows we're catching up with Lincoln in terms of games to play.

Really looking forward to this tonight, the Prenton Park game was a cracker and Chester produced the best performance of any side to come here to date this year.

They did and they'll raise their game like they did that day too.

However I'd like to think we will get the rub of the green with decisions after refereeing horror shows in recent weeks and the promotion know how of Mellon will show through.

If Cooper goes with 2 up top it will be Bugiel in for KMB, which tbh I'd rather not see.

Omar is a great impact sub against tiring defences, our tactic of wearing teams down by dominating possession and making them chase is perfectly suited to then bringing someone like him off the bench to finish the job. Stick with the team that beat Woking I reckon.

Certainly would be happy if that's what he does.

Should be alright, pitch was fine yesterday and the heavy rain has gone off now, just drizzling. It'll probably cut up a fair bit so might be hard work but I imagine we'll get through it.

Well yes, I think we should win this one, but then I also thought we should win against Ferriby, Guiseley, Woking, and Solihull at home too. We have a worrying propensity of losing to other teams in trouble so I'm wary of this one.

Can't wait for this cross-border derby, as BT have billed it. However, every game I've looked forward to in recent months has ended up in proper disappointment, so I hope we perform. COME ON ROVERS!

I've predicted a draw in our battle at Torquay, hopeful of a win of course but as we witnessed last weekend against Ferriby things don't always pan out as you expect in this league. Fingers crossed that 'performance' has given the squad the reminder of what happens if you let your standards slip. It certainly did on Tuesday against Barrow they gave everything to keep a clean sheet under a blitz of high balls into our box from all areas of the pitch!

Cross border derby? BT trolling Chester?

Aldershot produced the best away performance at SB that I've seen this season, so naturally tomorrow will be tough. Full credit to Gary Waddock this season, because frankly I don't think that side is the sixth best on paper, but he has them believing and overachieving, with a superb home record.

Our performance level will have to be at 100% to get something out of the game, Aldershot are the favourites.

Cars broke down in Warrington. One Chester ticket for something called the Maxiflow east stand about to go out of the window!

having clocked up the best part of 7000 miles this season, i wouldn't be too unhappy with a few from up your way going down. especiallly looking forward to yours on a tuesday night if you beat dulwich, between trips to gateshead and wrexham. anyway, tomorrow could see us 9 points clear of the bottom 3, massive game for us. not the end of the world if we lose, but would be a huge boost to get a bit of a gap between us and york, ferriby and southport. a few clubs above us look like they're slipping into danger zone too. if the bottom 3 don't get a result tomorrow, i'd say theyre doomed, and the next 6 above them will be fighting it out to avoid the last place. it's not going to be us, that's for sure.
