I agree. I would be interested to know how many clubs in the division are run as profitable businesses. I kind of just assumed that most of us, even the ones that appeared to be sustainable at least had an underwriter (in FM terms, I'm not what those guys who put their hands in their pocket are otherwise called).

In fairness to the radfords whereas it could be argued the spending isn’t sustainable they’ve a plan on and off the pitch.

The club is far better off the pitch revenue and event wise than we’ve probably ever been, even if they ever left and the club had to cut back, we’d be far more competitive than we ever were before.

The Lincoln post SOC posted about Mansfield was funny too, it’s Lincoln for Christ’s sake, some non-discript place in the middle of potato picking land!

We've announced Ryan Wintle has signed a new longer contract for us which is brilliant news. I think he finished 2nd in our player of the season last year and was our most consistent player last season. Fantastic bit of news. I like how we tend to keep our better young players under contract nowerdays.

Anything wins in terms of trains because Mansfield is not on a major line although I am talking countys here, hence travelling by rail is a novelty, residents prefer the M1 and a car because you don’t have to sit with other nonces.

I guess curle has finally got his man. We were always linked with Vadaine Oliver during curle’s reign. Curle named him publicly on occasions, referencing his wonder goal that never was against us for Crewe.

Don’t be surprised if he’s not there as back up. Curle really likes him.

Interestingly the other one he often named as being interested in was Chris Porter (Chrissy Porter as curle called him). He definitely tried to get him before he went to Colchester and rumours are he tried again before Crewe got him.
