Did I read at one time that a member of the A Team (not BA Baracus) financially invested in FGR.
And that sex author Jilly Cooper is a season ticket holder.
Think there was Robert Del Naja from Massive Attack who supposedly became our artistic director but not sure whatever came of that, and don't suppose it makes him a supporter. England legend Jack Russell is a local lad and once coached the goalies. Don't get to games myself (abroad) to know if he still comes or not.

Mad Frankie Fraser followed us for a while but that was mostly due to his son playing for us.

Imagine that in the playground. My dad could beat your dad up....er son. Shut the f÷%@ up.

I worked at the same factory in Barton as Maxine Carr for a bit.
Where I work now is a bakery but it used to be Heinz pizza factory and Huntley used to work here then, before my time like but some of the women who are still here now said he was creepy as fuck although I guess it’s easy to say that now knowing what we all know.

Our temporary stand is pretty much complete. Will be nice to have a four sided stadium for a change, seems ages since that was the case.

will be better when we build the proper replacement Kop later on next year, but it'll do for now.

That's a classic bleacher that. If I know American high school dramas then all the jocks and cheerleaders who support Wrexham nowadays will be smoking cigarettes and making out under there at half time. If you supported Wrexham pre-Rob and Ryan then you are a nerd and must not go under there under any circumstances as you will get beaten up.

What does that do to your capacity then? Assuming it means you have to give an extra block over to away fans now?

Takes us up to 12k, so I think it leaves the away provision unchanged as we could already give 1200 if needed. I think anyway, I don't really know.

It seems very impressive for a "temporary" stand which leads me to believe that will be there for longer than the rest of the season. That'll still be there in 18 months time I reckon.

Morecambe’s chairman did some racism at our place and has admitted it, but because the victim (Emile Acquah) hasn’t pursued any further action he’s just been told to be a bit quieter with his racism next time. Or something.

Might just be me, but that is horrendous. No roof, totally exposed to the elements, the facilities for it will be awful, the black seats clash horribly with the rest of the stadium, it's miles from the pitch. If I was a true Wrexham fan and wanted tickets, I would rather not watch than sit in that thing. Awful.

It's obviously for the 'new' Wrexham fans not the old ones, the true ones, the thick and thin ones.

I will always find seating with no roof a bizarre sight but it's temporary so fair enough and it does the job it makes the capacity bigger to help satisfy demand.

It's certainly better than having a tinpot 3 sided ground.

I think if that was the solution and we didn't have permission for a permanent stand I'd be a bit more miffed. It doesn't appeal to me tbh. Apparently it will be cheaper than the normal seats (as it should be).

That said there is some worries, as per Master Ds comment above, that this stand will be less temporary than we hope. I have no reason to doubt that the owners will deliver on the actual Kop though.

Hopefully that's not because Acquah feels it would be a career limiting move to take it further, but you get the feeling that's probably the case.

It's not great, but you're going just a bit OTT for me. It's a temporary stand, pretty sure colour co-ordinating it isn't of great importance. The fact is that Wrexham are selling out the home ends every match and have been for some time so the stats say people will gobble up the tickets (especially once the weather warms up). If on the off chance this doesn't happen then they can stick the away fans in there and give the current away blocks to home fans and they've still added an extra 1000 home seats. Agree though, it'll be horrific in the winter months and I wouldn't want to do it every other week but if I was a Wrexham fan and it was my only option then I would. I think credit has to go to their owners again for identifying a problem and resolving it. I wish our owners would do the same at Blundell Park.

Bit grim that assessment, but I fear you're right. If legal proceedings are dropped, does that also nullify any FA related investigations?
