Absolutely woeful second half but threw it away literally. 99 times out of 100 Brown catches comfortably there.

Second half was as bad as we’ve been all season, worse than Macclesfield and that’s disappointing after how well we’ve performed but although he’s cost us the game today won’t be harsh on a players who’s arguably kept us up last season.

Frustrating and now 19 points dropped from winning positions.

Anyone count how many times we hit the woodwork? Never mind the Morecambe keeper pulling of a load of blinding saves. 4 different scorers, all academy. Love it.

Not sure which version of Morecambe are worse, the one that lost 6-0 on opening day last season, or this one. Both equally inept in virtually every way.

We got some lucky breaks in a few instances, but that was as one sided as they come. Morecambe's players should be ashamed of that effort, as should Adams.

Lovely little pick me up with 4 different players scoring. Eased off a lot in the 2nd half, means we should be relatively fresh for Tuesday at Forest Green.

Seems Worrall and Lund sent off after full time. Fuck sake three game bans no doubt which we can’t afford.

Great win for us following a dominant second half, don't think our keeper made a save. We should've won by a lot more if it wasn't for the keeper. Strange he kept Vale in the game but also threw it away.

Thought Vales full backs were very dodgy, Eisa and Gilliead got past them with ease.

One is a winger the other exposed by a lazy winger in front of them.

So stupid from both of them

Lund is a fucking idiot, we now have one fit CM and he's played RB for most of the season.

Well maybe fortune has turned for us. We should have been out of sight first half, three or four gilt edged chances not taken.
Crawley had some chances of their own including a header which they should have scored, then it looked like they should have had a penalty.
30 seconds later we have a corner from which we score.
Probably deserved on overall play but I would feel hard done by if a Crawley fan. Thank you Trevor Kettle!!

Good win for us today, and great passion at full time. We’re finally clicking, 4 wins in 5 games. 1 defeat in 8. On a roll.

Quite possibly one of the dullest games in the history of football at Brunton Park today. Cambridge are amazingly even more impotent in front of goal than we are.

Fuck me that was dogshit. Awful awful game. Worse than the 1st half v Grimsby earlier in the week, which takes some doing. Need to turn things round a bit sharpish. FA Cup game next Friday is gonna be a real test on this form.

Christ Morecambe are bad. Even without the sending off they were on there way for a tonking. That could have quite easily been double figures. 70% possession, 30 Shots, hit the woodwork 3 times, took 3 of our best players off with 30 mins to go to rest them for Tuesday. The perfect game after abit of a blip in the league, onwards and upwards, FGR on Tuesday winner goes top.

If Crawley lost that four nil we couldn't complain but we made a much better fist of it in the second half.

We had one off the line ( my view not over) and I thought it was a penalty for us but that doesn't give us an excuse not to defend the corner down our end properly.

Difference in class today, we got away with a 0-1 loss but if Exeter want to get promoted you need to get a strike force.

I think we need a new manager. Cioffi is just not doing it. The defence is terrible, the midfield is woeful and, for all the shots we have, our attacking play ain't much. Put it this way, I'm looking at the bottom of the league not the play off places.

Slowly, bit by bit we are clicking. We are not there yet, but after a very indifferent season so far things are getting much better. First half should have been at least three nil, we were very dominant and Bradford’s defence was all over the shop. In the second half Bradford came out strong and were in the ascendancy for a good twenty-twenty five minutes and we looked very wobbly. Here the defence with the addition of ex-green Mellor started to look solid. The goal was likely, although the own goal was a bit fortunate, a fairly weak shot that the keeper had easily covered and Canavan decided to intervene and put in past Palmer. For a good fifteen minutes afterwards an equaliser would not have been a surprise, but then we sorted ourselves out and Cananavan somehow missed a free header and then later had an overhead kick cleared of the line.

I thought the ref had a good game until the last ten minutes when he made a few odd decisions. I have never seen a keeper cautioned for time wasting when the crowd refused to give the ball back. Bizarre decision.

I’d be very interested in the view of those present of Mayor. I read the Bradford forum that they thought he ran the show and is probably the best midfielder in the league. I don’t thing he is the best midfielder in our team, and feel Cooper has played much better, indeed I would have liked him substituted. Yes he dribbles past people, but he does little dangerous with it, he keeps going away from goal. At the beginning of the season he ran towards goal, but in past few games I have seen him he appears to have lost his confidence.

edited to note that it looks like I stand corrected. There appears to have been some shenanigans from Palmer that I did not see, so a caution for our keeper was correct.

Lund is a fucking idiot, we now have one fit CM and he's played RB for most of the season.
Both reds caused by the ineptness of Ed Sheeran the god damn bottle job of a ref

Scunthorpe completely battered us 2nd half but some of his decisions were scandalous. The foul on Taylor on the touch line , cleaned him out , if not a foul it's a yellow for diving for our player.

Then when Cullen hit McArdle who's head was low and stooping yet Cullen given against as a high foot.
The sending off was caused by Lund lobbing the ball into the crowd, blatant yellow, instead he allowed Worrall and Lund to have handbags which then moved on after the game.
Possibly the worst ref of the season and that's saying something.

However none of that detracts from the fact that we got away with a 2-1, could easily have been a lot more.

Poor day at the races and I don't think we've ever won there

Referee didn’t seem too bad until injury time when he completely lost the plot, how can it be a high foot when you kicking a ball at knee height!

Lund was a tool and should of been dealt with but Wozza shouldn’t get involved after. Sounds like we will look at appealing it based on what’s been said, fairly out of character for Wozz to react to be honest.

One of those days first half we were pretty good but one of them games like Grimsby when we just didn’t turn out second half, goal kills us as we then have to go 4-4-2 and we are more open and game plan is out the window.

When Gibbons and Brown two of our best and most consistent players are having shockers you just know it’s not going to be your day.

That said if you’d said we would head into December with only 5 defeats in the league we would have snapped your hand off for that.

Need to sort out this throwing away of winning positions though as it’s getting ridiculous. Of the 5 defeats we have led 1-0 in 3 of them! Of the 7 draws we’ve led in 5 of them! Must sort the mentality side of things there especially away from VP.

Thought we were gonna see what fully happened on the FL show but guess not. All we saw was Worrall offer Lund out and then nothing else, can't really appeal that unless there is other footage as I have no idea what happened next.

How the ref didn't sort it out during the game when Lund threw the ball away and Worrall pushed Lund three times I'll never know.

Scrappy and fairly low quality first half. Perch cost us the goal to Vale, with getting himself out of position after giving the ball away. Our wide men were a threat all game and we equalised through Van Veen meeting a low cross from the right. We obviously targeted the flanks and both of Vale's defensive widemen had difficult afternoons.
Second half was all Scunny and we should have won by 2 or 3 clear goals. Vale found it difficult, as we kept running at them, particularly wide.
I didn't really see the fracas at the end, but if Lund was involved it doesn't surprise me. He is a dickhead and fancies himself. He is overrated as a player and often gets involved with stuff that he shouldn't. I read that we are looking at appealing his sending off, which is the right thing, as I thought the ref was poor. We'll see whether the authorities agree.
We have now moved into a midtable position, albeit on goal difference. If we can consolidate on that over the upcoming holiday period, I am sure all Scunny fans will be happy after such a dreadful start.

As below par as we were after the break you were far better on the day than Bradford or Crewe who we’ve placed recently, I’d be surprised if you didn’t climb the table fairly rapidly now and your form suggests you’ve turned the corner.

Our full backs in the main have been excellent recently, Gibbons one of the player of the season contenders and has a few big clubs allegedly watching him, once both were booked though it was a difficult afternoon for them to get in to.

So far Scunny are one of the best sides we’ve played on the day.

We were garbage with only really Legge and Smith (centre backs) coming out with any credit.

Scunthorpe look a good side.

No idea what happened at half time but it was like a completely different XI turned out! Happened a couple of times now which is a bit annoying. Played some lovely stuff first half but then resorted to punting it once Cullen came on.

Carbon copy of the Grimsby debacle. Going to be one of them seasons of “what if” with the crazy amount we’ve dropped points wise (19!)

Would have taken a point before the game yesterday given Cheltenham's form this season (and, particularly, their home record all year). On the radio it didn't sound like we were really at the races, so to still get something must be seen as a point gained.

Although it didn't sound like we deserved all three points, the penalty looks like a massive dive which is a frustrating way to drop two.

Well, that’s 5 wins on the spin. Grimsby and Oldham coming up next so hopefully extending that sequence.

Should see 2 of our best players back from long term injury, too - Anderson and Isgrove

Clip I’ve seen of the Worrall/Lund incident at full time it looks a weak red card for both players, kind of thing happens often in games and is dealt with a yellow apiece.

Just handbags and Worrall is quickly thrown out the way along with Lund who’s head seems to end up in Legges chest but that’s because Legge is a monster!

Pathetic from the referee who probably books both if during the game.
