I dare you to go on our forum and post that. However toungue in cheek it is.
Seriously, I thought a draw would have been tolerable but the loss was a bit of a pisser.
Still, some nice pubs from/to the station.

I'm sorry but I won't post on your club's forum cos that's just not me :(

I don't see what makes you think I'm not being honest. Is it the best side along with Swindon bit? I can't speak for others but when I rate any fellow L2 club I tend to look at stuff like how well did they nullify our better players and if they succeeded in targeting our weak spots, besides all the other usual stuff. You did a great job at both and only bad luck cost you the game.

A lot of the so called better sides are still to come here (Crewe, Bradford, Plymouth etc) and I may well change my mind then, but you did impress me more than decent sides like FGR and Newport did.

We were poor Saturday and didn’t deserve to win but we’ve been on the end of results this season where we should have won or at least got a point. So I’ll happily take the 3 points on Saturday.

Not celebrating your own teams 86th minute winner because we were that poor? That’s bloody poor from you Vanni.

That's not poor, that's honesty. BUT I got to admit that I was surprised by my own reaction (or lack of) 'cos this was a whole new experience for me. I mean, a goal's a goal and a winning goal is even sweeter right? :dk:

I notice that on xG you're the best team in the division.

I don’t know about being in control for 80 mins deepcut cobbler you were for the first ten. Minutes and should of gone in at half time 2-1 up. The lad should of scored but smashed it against the bar from 6 yards. We should of had a penalty first half for the shirt nearly being pulled off wheater the rest of the game not a lot hapoenedyou had slightly better possession but didn’t threaten till Williams scored gave to agree with you about the decision to take McCormack off you would of won. If he had stayed on. All in all two poor sides

It doesn't sound like you were there...

Really maybe you should look at the game With different glasses on it was two poor sides McCormack for you was your stand out player. I’d be questioning your manager decision to bring him off for the last ten minutes rather than trying to question my opinion which we are all allowed You didn’t create chance after chance neither did we

Looked last man to me, but I'd have to see it back.

A quote from an Exeter fan:

“Dylan Connelly's desire to cheat and con officials overrides his desire to score goals and that's why he's dogshit and playing in league 2 and that's why he's scored NO goals in over 30 apperances for both Wimbledon and Bradford.”

This isn't just aimed at this one fan as you see it every week from our fans as well as every other club, but it just goes to show how little a lot of people understand about a sport they watch all year round. Last man and gets pulled down, not sure where the complaint can be? As for the dogshit being in League 2 comment, bit like their entire team then.

Some people really are quite simple.

It was soft, but if you’re stupid enough to be wrestling with opposition players when your the last man, then you’re not giving the referee much choice. In addition, I’m fairly sure the decision came via the linesman, who was only a few yards away.

I just said that we were in control and didn't look like being under any particular threat, we could have had a couple more in the first half if they had fallen to a finisher. But at no time up until we took McCormack off, who is being nursed/protected back to fitness (that was the longest he has played this season) did I feel we were going away with anything other than three points..
The last ten minutes, after our second, we were hanging on but more because of McCormack's removal. Your first was well taken but your second was a complete fluke that surprised everyone. I concur that your opinion as everybody's is allowed, however in my opinion you didn't see the game as I did. :cool1: Nor did your manager, unless he was talking totally tongue in cheek!
Teams probably now know how to play us, wait until the 70th+ minute for McCormack to depart, then to go for it.

I wouldn't have made those comments but to clarify it's not 'last man' but denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. He would have been Lionel Messi to score from there

I'd hope he'd have kept dribbling towards the goal as there was nobody else around. Not that I think he'd have scored like, he was angling away from goal but had time to come back in if he wasn't pulled back. I don't really think the ref had much choice, obviously if there was another defender nearby then it'd have been a yellow. Suppose we'll just have to see if it gets rescinded or not, but imo it shouldn't as it wasn't an obvious error and only goes to undermine one of their refs. That said I believe we once had one rescinded for a two footer by Wyke so you never know.

Our game with Colchester next week has been called off due to international call ups on their part.

Total joke imo, we had 7 first teamers injured for Port Vale and have no choice but to play it, but because Colchester have 3 players playing for some outposts somewhere they can get it postponed.

The rule needs looking at. It's now 3 weeks between league games, plus the Saturday before our last league game we had one postponed. Through no fault of our own the fixture list will now be building up in the winter months.

Edit: 1 of them hasn't even made a league start this season.

Bore off, everyone knows the rules. We've had to play the last two international breaks missing a couple of players and lost on both occasions. Who hasn't started a league game this season? That's wrong straight away.

Comley has been a POTY contender this season in central midfield and we've missed him massively for the last two breaks. Harriott is our best player when fit and is starting to get back into the swing of it now he's back from injury and Gambin has featured at some point in near enough every game this season, scoring in the last two. So all three are important players and all three are off for full internationals, it's not as though they're going off to play for U21 sides etc.

As for a fixture list building up, we've already played four games more than Bradford this season.

That's because of the cup, not our problem we never had chance just to postpone games in our cup runs.

Not sure why you're been so sensitive and telling me to bore off, I'm not slagging your precious team off I'm blaming the rules which I'm sure most would exploit in your position. There are fans who have booked non refundable hotels and trains, if you think 10 days notice is acceptable for fans then we'll just have to disagree.

If I'm wrong with the starts stat I'm not bothered tbh, it was just something someone put on Twitter.

Judging by the countries they play for, it's probably lower standard than U21 tbf.

looking at that pic I see something different,

Shielding (a) is not “impeding” in any form and (b) it can occur at any spot on the field, not only when the ball is about to cross a boundary line.

If the player can legally play the ball and the ball is within playing distance, the player may shield as a tactic to prevent an opponent from getting to the ball (provided, of course, that the shielding does not involve holding). If the player cannot legally play the ball or if the ball is not within playing distance, such shielding becomes “impeding the progress of an opponent” and should be penalized by an indirect free kick.

part b (unnatural positioning), one way of attempted cheating during shielding is “making oneself bigger,” the same sort of action used in some cases of deliberately handling the ball. An example of this would be a player shielding the ball and extending his arms straight from the shoulders or moving them around, an unnatural thing to do. No player shielding the ball from another is allowed to use his (or her) arms or any other part of his body for other than maintaining balance — which does not include pushing off or holding the opponent. If the player is simply maintaining balance — in the opinion of the referee — then an opponent who initiates contact with the player who has the ball is guilty of charging illegally. If the player with the ball is holding out his arms or a leg not to maintain balance but to obstruct the opponent, the player has committed an indirect free kick offense, provided no contact occurred. However, if the player with the ball initiates any contact, then he or she has charged, held, or pushed (all direct free kick fouls) and must be punished accordingly.…

Two games in a row we’ve had postponed due to the weather - surely we can’t make it a hattrick next week...
Our league game maybe in doubt next week. King and McNamara have had call ups. Waiting on Marsh-Brown and Collins.

So, the postponements have been for rain, wind and international call ups. It's like the ten plagues, reckon they'll be locusts and the humber turning to blood next.

Has KMB had many/any minutes for you this season?
No. Flynn wants rid and tried to get him out on loan but KMB not having it and running out his contract until June. Just plays for Guyana. This international call up business is just an excuse to cover for injuries and suspensions. King and Macnamara have had legit call ups and we would be without Sheehan who is suspended. Flynn didn’t fancy it without those 3 starters.

Pathetic cowardice that. The league should be fining you for this nonsense.
