436 pies at BP.

Seemingly lacking in true fans. A totally awful following.

Must be hard for the players travelling away being backed by such poor numbers. Maybe ieverything caving in together?

Maybe the vast majority knew we would lose heavily with abject defending on display :ffs:

Tbh we tend to turn up at home in good numbers not away. You guys should try it sometime :bg:

Can’t believe the total attendance was over 7000 - God knows why. Probably 600 ish from Cheltenham

Bit harsh. Anyone travelling over 200 miles to watch a mid table side just before Christmas deserves a medal.

Agreed. That’s actually a pretty decent effort.

Morecambe isn’t appealing at any time of the year, though a night in Lancaster comes highly recommended

Checked Twitter and the club's account says the away attendance was unconfirmed.
Is there some particular reason why Swindon never announce the away attendances? It's a bit weird.
By the way there will be at least 2000 away fans at their next game :)

They actually got free entry, courtesy of the directors and a free pie & drink, courtesy of the players.

Still glad I chose City 1-1 Bromsgrove Sporting, which was decent match with both sides having better striker options than the U's.

Oh.........amd "mid-table" flatters both of us.

Sold out our 4100 allocation for Palace, now got 1000 more.
Staggered by that to be honest I thought 2500 - 3000 max.
Grimsby Lincoln and Oldham doing League 2 proud with combined numbers for 3rd round games. :bravo:

Fair play to you guys as selhurst is an awful place to get to, clearly your upturn in form has encouraged people to go.
Pity not many palace fans will go I would guess.
Our fans are now buying tickets in the home areas such is the demand.

'That's terrible from Cambridge' says a fan of a club that once (back in 2013 or 14 actually) only brought a mini bus load of fans to an FA Cup replay at the Abbey. LOL.

Yeah I thought the half 5 kick off would stop a few as well but as you say with our current form there’s a bit of a feel good factor around the place again.
Shame I can’t make it myself as I’m working 4th 5th 6th and 7th, and should it go to a replay (optimistic I know) then it would probably be on 15th and I’m working that one as well.
My lad is gutted to say the least.

Have to say taking that many to Palace is real credit- good opportunity to make it sound like a home game as well.

105 on a Tuesday night... a terrible following, as is 101 on a Saturday.

People are obviously prioritising Cambridge and Everton over Crewe on Boxing Day.

Only about 800 sold for Crewe so far but around 1,900 for Cambridge.

We never seem to travel well on boxing day or new years day.

I'll be a Crewe as its only an hour away from me.

Final numbers will likely be around 1,000 for Crewe and 2,000+ at Cambridge. I'm doing Cambridge and Everton but not Crewe- had choice of 2 out of the 3 so Crewe lost out.

Cambridge is easier to get to (just point the car down the A1 and hanger left at the A14) and probably has a few more exiles attending and is a likely more pleasant away day.

Crewe is.....well, it's Crewe.

We'll probably only end up taking about 6-700 to Grimsby on NYD.

Terrible following, totally appreciate. That's what happens when the plod make it a 1pm KO on NYD

Train strikes are a nightmare at the moment for exiled northern Imps like me as well.

It's buggering everything up, caused me chaos getting to Lincoln from my neck of the woods.

I do agree with them striking, but it's bloody annoying

What with the strikes and now them shutting loads of it for maintenance works you might as well forget about using the railways until after the new year.

Northern Rail are continuing striking on Saturdays from the new year. Something like 40 days lost this year, needs sorting

The problem being is no-one backs them taking the guards off the trains, the public are massively in favour of keeping them as are the other staff at Northern.

The government would be advised to actually sort the bloody lines in the first place than doing all this causing the staff into striking - wouldn't still be happening if it were down south

The money ploughed into the south is a joke, Northern's train stock is still stuck in the 80's. They have my sympathy, it's just a ridiculous situation.
