Stockport (H) LOST
North Ferriby (A) WON
New Mills (A) (Derbyshire Senior Cup) WON
Darlington (H) DREW
Leamington (H) WON
Blyth Spartans (A) WON
Gainsbrough Trinity (A) LOST

10/18.
Been a bit of a rollocaster month! Started it deep in trouble in the relegation zone, A change of manager had the desired effect as we chalked up vital wins at Leamington and Blyth. Todays costly defeat has put the wind out of our sails.

Not for the wanting of trying though. Will take 14th after starting the Month in the relegation zone, confident there are 2 teams along with Ferriby worse than us.

Jan 9th - Hitchin (H) - Lost 0-0 (pens) - league cup
Jan 13th - Fleet Town (A) - Won 4-0 - League
Jan 16th - Aylesbury FC (A) - Won 4-0 - League
Jan 27th - Moneyfields (A) - Won 3-1 League

10/12 in the league.

Decent month but a couple of postponements in there, as most have had at our level. Hopefully we can carry this form further, right now despite doing so well we're only 3 points ahead of 2nd placed Beaconsfield, with some very tough games coming up. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy to be top and 3 points ahead, but I'm just a natural pessimist and worried our form is going to drop off, and our rivals are going to steam ahead.

10/12 - Good month considering 3 of our 4 games were away, although we seem to be better away at the moment. Next month we play Dagenham, Macclesfield, Bromley and Wrexham so that will give us a better indication of whether we have a chance of winning the league (which I doubt) or if we will be looking at the playoffs.

Unbeaten in January and if we win on Tuesday I'll be happy with our total for the month. Keeps us at a steady pace for the play offs but the nothing teams are keeping up the chase. This is the month where we've finally found our shooting boots though, having scored almost 1/3 of our total goals this month. The arrival of Scott Quigley should mean we won't have a lot of difficulty finding the back of the net from here on in, we just need that creative outlet in the middle.

Gateshead away is all of a sudden a huge game, where we should be looking at coming home with the points. Play like we did against Tranmere and we should be alright. Play like we did against Barrow and we'll probably come home with nothing.
