Lincoln fans have been clambering to sign Ugwu ever since our defeat there earlier this month.

Surprised that Cowley wasn't aware of him or had started tapping him up.

Luke Imp will soon be continuously posting that a deal for Ugwu is imminent, whilst wearing his Akinola shirt (has he signed yet?).

Margetts as an all round football player was pretty poor.

People complain about our lack of goals but we are lucky to have Mangan and Stockton coming off the bench.

Margetts can finish but seemed generally lazy when he was with us. I would not have blamed Brabin for moving him on if he had not have replaced him with Michael Higdon.......

Never lazy will us, he just couldn't do what he was being asked to do for 90 minutes although that was in August so I suppose he'd have got used to it.

Altrincham have signed that Barrow / Port Vale / Crewe / Burton goalie who became (sort of) a WWE wrestler. Apparently hasn't played a game since May 2013.

Was back-up to Tim Deasy when he was here, but ousted him for the FA Trophy final. I wouldn't be too worried about the lack of match practice, with him being a keeper, but he's been training for a totally different sport, so god knows what his physique will be like now! He wasn't exactly the shape of a footballer when he was here.

Yeah he played but they lost 1-0, Nicky Clee went off injured at half time otherwise they would've have won 4-1.

Yep, like a few this season.
I didn't go, but the reports are that he didn't have a great deal to do, and that there wasn't much he could do about the goal (deflection job).

Apparently we're signing/have signed Lee Angol on loan from Peterborough until the end of the season. He's 6ft2 but looks like he weighs about 12 stone wet through, so not exactly the Rhead backup we were hoping for. He's scored once this season for Posh, having picked up a serious injury at a PSF against Boston. Not sure what to make of it, maybe we'll play differently if he replaces Rhead as he seems like he's got soemthign to offer, having scored loads for Boreha at the level below this, and 11 goals in League One for Posh last year. Good thing is that he has been playing regularly for Posh, unlike Margetts or Southwell at their repsective clubs, so he should be fairly fit, even if he;s not been banging the goals in.

After making the bench on Saturday, he played in our reserve fixture against Hartlepool United this afternoon...and was promptly released after the final whistle. All that after we had to appeal the initial refusal of international approval to sign him in the first place.
