Lansbury id guess will be more than a knock. He took what seemed a fairly innocuous and standard blow to the back of the neck in a three way mid air heading collision. But worryingly a few minutes later as he cut out a driven cross while running at full speed, the impact of heading it sent him crashing to the turf holding his neck again.

Shame Pelly is so woefully off form and also now injured, as for me he was integral to this seasons rise alongside the awesome Campbell. Think that loss alone has been an issue with us also never quite funding the right balance off the two of them other than perhaps Clark whos never had a consistent run at it.

This imbalance is probably where we can point if things slip and we drop away slightly. That and our lack if creativity from the left. Shut out Bree/our right and you nullify a large part of our threat. Shut down Eli as well and the threat is almost extinguished.

Millwall at home on Friday, I'm guessing it's been a while since we won 3 in a row, so not too confident.

Riis felt his hamstring so i'm guessing he's almost certainly out, so I think Maguire is more likely to start alongside Archer than Evans.

Potts missed the QPR game through illness, but McCann filled in well, so not sure who will get the nod at RWB.

Probably unchanged other than that, hopefully Mikey O'Neill can get a longer cameo and we maybe see another youth player on the bench, Aaron Bennett or Lewis Seary maybe. Our under-18s have just won their league with an 8-1 win over Port Vale, so some of them making the bench would be a good reward.

Iversen
VDB - Bauer - Hughes
Whiteman
McCann - Browne - DJ - Cunningham
Archer - Maguire

South Yorkshire Police being c***, shocker.

They've moved the Barnsley fixture to a 12.30 kickoff because our Gentry Day is planned for that game.

Nothing to do with Barnsley, they tried to keep it to a 3pm kickoff.

I know people who have booked trains that only get into Barnsley after 12.30. Can see a lot of people sacking this off now and Gentry Day possibly being moved to a home game.

It usually results in bigger numbers and the vast majority being pissed up, but there haven't been any major incidents that i've heard of. It's not like it's a heated fixture or we have anything riding on the game either, most won't care what the final score is if they've had a decent day on the beer.

Good game. We are in control so far, with the high press and a good balance, but they look dangerous with Davis causing problems

Potts & Maguire in, as expected.

A shame there aren't any youth players on the bench but maybe not much merit throwing them on against Millwall's giant MMA steaks. Must win game for them if they want to sneak in the play-offs.

Mikey O'Neill & Aaron Bennett signed pro deals yesterday.

Was t able to watch or follow the game but just caught up and sounds like a proper backs to the wall result that. Seem to have rustled quite a few Forrest fans too which is nice! Big and much needed result, still very tight up there for the playoffs

Think you are pretty much certain of a play off place now ?

Bournemouth held so you gain 2 points on them too.

In a stronger position now id agree. We have four games left with none of them having anything to play for, altho one is Fulham who can get promoted today.

Bournemouth gonna do what you did last year and scrape an Auto, as nobody can put enough concerted pressure on them. I think theyd have squirmed and wet the bed otherwise..... Just like you might have

Another big away win for us today, surely we can’t do it, can we?

3 points off with 4 to play, but four teams standing in our way above us in the table. Think our fixtures are probably too difficult, and our squad too small for it to realistically happen, but we can dream.

Why not? Your last four fixtures werent exactly easy. Lots of points being dropped. You have a shot so go for it stress free without the pressure most of the others have

Dare I say, despite the collective suicide on Monday night, we’re actually in a better position now than what we were before that Huddersfield game? No one bar Fulham is consistent in this division. We have two games v Cardiff and Blackpool now. Two teams with nothing to play for. Win those and our place is secured - in my opinion.

Also, I hope our Nottingham based members are safe and well this morning - I understand the Trent burst it’s banks with all the tears flowing into it yesterday.

Probably in a marginally better position than the last round of results but since the international break and the start of the run everyone has been so inconsistent it’s tough to extrapolate. Feels like we could just easily win all our next games as lose them and the same for everyone else! Fully agree with the comments above, whoever makes it is going to pocket the money and probably fill a relegation spot next season but that’s gold dust for everyone chasing it.

Cardiff up next, proven to be a bogey side for us really. Centre half and midfield situations getting a bit chronic again with Bradley’s suspension. See what Jones and this squad can come up with, feels like everyone in the squad has contributed this season - there’s no definite best 11 just a really solid group so we’ll probably be asking someone to step up again.

Ali McCann showing he can be a big player for us, just hard to say where he fits into the system as realistically, none of Whiteman, Browne or Johnson get dropped.

I just hope that we can go into the last day with something to play for. Fancy us to beat Bournemouth on Monday.

So looks like Fred has switched in recent games from RWB to LWB to centre forward today.

Ive learned to trust Jones' tactical nouse, on the whole, so Im sure hes right and im wrong...... but....... id have preferred Bell at left centre half, Fred lwb and bring in Danny up top. Liked that balance. Thats assuming Kal in the DM role

Muskwe has slipped out of the frame and CMG never been in it.

Might not have any players left come the end of the season. 2 more serious looking ones in the last 5 mins. Only got 1 keeper now and Bree will be a huge miss if out for any extended period
