I think if we had pay on gate tonight we would get close to sellout, sold around a thousand tickets

We've put out our best team possible. If we don't win we've got no excuses.

I like this system. Favours the higher placed teams more than the old (as if playing your home game first or second in a two-legged tie would make a scrap of difference) and already a few days after the league season has ended, two teams know where they stand, rather than this agonizing wait over a week thinking "are we really sure to beat this team?"/"have we done enough this leg even with an away win?" only to eventually lose the tie regardless. The Football League should do something similar for their play-offs, although I think adding two teams may be a bit much.

Listening to Stockport Vs Chorley sounds a very even game so far.

I see its Kiddy 0-1 BPA........looking like an absolute masterstroke by Kiddy to rest their entire team and let BPA nick into the play-offs.................unless they can up their game second half, but of course the idea of being rested is they should now be fitter going into this half.

Bradford really don't deserve to be there in the first place, they only qualified because Spennymoor couldn't beat the worst team in the division by a country mile at home.

I feel for Kidderminster if they don't go through, but nine points between the teams isn't a massive gap, and although like I said the system is pretty fair on the higher placed teams, there's still this lottery element like in a one-off FA Cup tie where anything can happen between teams not a million miles apart in quality.

So will the Aldershot and Stockport games go to ET and penalties if they stay that way?

I would say that will be the Kidderminster manager sacked.

Think Stockport's season will be next year. thought Chorley would be winning tonight but didn't expect the BPA one.

Playoffs have got interesting now. Chorley, Harrogate and Brackley all have playoff history / issues. Could BPA actually win this?

Well I certainly didnt expect that.

Massive commiserations to Kidderminster and Stockport fans

Congrats to the resident Chorley fans.

After fearing we wouldnt play Stockport again for a while. Looks like we will meet next season after all.

I didn't see those results coming.

Think I'm happy to be playing BPA - they looked so ordinary last time we played them, BUT their confidence must be sky high now after this remarkable run of form.

Harrogate favourites for their tie, but Chorley are great at 1-0 victories....

Kiddy had a bye if Spennymoor had got through, they were frankly dead on their backsides.

but play youth side......lose.....let someone else in, expect it will be fine as your first teamers come in and then lose to them...........talk about shooting yourself in foot.

Personally think tonight doesn't matter too much, i cannot at all see past either one of Brackley or Harrogate.

So frustrating. We battered Bradford tonight, it just wouldn't fall for us and we didn't take our chances. Their keeper had a ridiculously good game tonight.

Yes, well done to the lads, wasn't able to go tonight due to family illness in spite of having tickets, no surprise to me, we always seem to have the measure of Stockport County. Anyone for BPA at Victory a Park in the final?
Seriously under no illusions it will be very tough at Harrogate, they are the one side at the top who gave dicked us this season, but it's all to play for.

Pathetic. Can someone test the BPA keeper for drugs he made some amazing saves throughout the game.

But I'm sure I wrote a report on our game against Chorley last year but was basically the same concede an early goal, absolutely dominate and do everything but score, concede a 2nd, lose.

We have absolutely no bottle the only way we'll ever get out of this division is from winning it.

Eh? They've beaten you home and away haven't they? :fl:

Yep. Still rather face them than Kiddy.

We dominated vs BPA last month - they scored on a breakaway with their only shot of the match. Sounds similar to how they won vs Kidderminster tonight.

They are clearly dogged, take their chances and have some real bottle at the moment. Still, they ain't going to outplay us, so I'll take my chances against them....... so expect a BPA-Chorley final.

Sounds like the innate superiority of all former leagues clubs you predicted earlier failed the 'proper clubs' tonight (Aldershot included)...

Well in Chorley. Hope they come up, a fairly localish game and enjoyed my visit there during our title winning season a few years ago. Hopefully to add to Morecambe coming down too. The only downside is that it will add to competition for players.
