RefWatch; Ref for Scunthorpe game (P4 W2 D2) is dreamy Dean Whitestone, 42, from Northampton. Works for the filth out of Kentish Town nick in North London, where he tortures the dreadful local hipster population to death with his massive truncheon. FL ref since 2006, and is definitely one of the better ones I've seen; very fit, reads the game well & is quite fair. Recently became a dad, so is well used to hysterical crying & uncontrollable shitting, which is just as well because when Scunny score their 3rd after 20 minutes the Cumflow End will erupt with uncontrollably crying, hysterically shitting Wombles.

Reffed Wombles 6 times (W3 D2 L1); 2-2 draw with Stevenage in the Paint in '11 (3Y); 0-0 draw with Scunny in '11 (3Y); annual 3-1 away win over Southend in '13 (4Y); 3-1 loss to scum in League Cup in '14 (5Y); 2-0 win v Newport in '15 (2Y 1R) & the 2-1 win v Creepy in August '15 (4Y). Reffed Scunny 10 times (W4 D2 L4; 25Y & 2R), most recently the 2-2 away draw with Colchester in Aug '15. Hates the scum. Detests them like all Cobblers do. Hates them. In 39 games last season he gave 119 Y & 2 R - very low.

AnagramWatch; Dean Whitestone = Hone A Swedish Tit. Ween Noshed A Tit. We Shit On A Teen.
KettleWatch; Having spent all summer writing the screenplay for 'Trevor Kettle; The Musical', I can exclusively reveal that the word referee comes from the French word 'Refe' which means 'fat, blind prick whose father was an oompa loompa & whose mother sucked off goblins', which by a breathtaking coincidence is exactly what Our Trevor is. No match for him yet, but the Premiership has just started, so he'll be back in action soon.

We're doing our first ever beamback for this game so I will be watching that at our ground.

If we start with 4-4-2 like we should, we can win this. We haven't beaten AFC Wimbledon yet in 4 games, lets hope this is the time for change.

Hopefully this is the game we finally get some points on the board.
2-0 or 2-1 Dons.

Scunthorpe rumoured to be one of the division's bigger spenders. Clearly getting something from the game would be grand but if we lose it's not panic stations just yet I don't think.

As I said, I'd take a point

Another 1-2 home defeat tonight. We've been playing well but still losing, which doesn't bode well for when we stop playing well.

Awful first half for the dons, starting with a wrongfully disallowed goal, and ending with a horrendous incident where 2 players should have been sent off for both of them studding the back of Barnetts legs a yard from goal when he was going to score. Hopefully the crime will be put on the highlights.

A good win in the end and now 7pts out of 9. Excellent start to the season for the Iron!

Dreadful dreadful ref. Penalty appeal in first half. Second half, last attack, blatant blatant trip on Poleon.

Scunthorpe were very good in the first but poor in the second and were lucky to win.

Excellent first half, not so good second half.

We won which is the most important thing.

Any thoughts on us? Wonder what someone with an unbiased perspective would say
You'll stay up for sure. I thought you were much better than Fleetwood who we drew too.

You started of the brightest but we grew into the game and controlled most of the first half, your defense made a couple big blocks to keep you in the game. The 2nd half was pretty much all you, we only really had one shot and it was Hopper's horrendous miss at the end. We wouldn't really be able to complain if you snatched a point. I think you'll do especially well at home due to the compact ground and the physical nature of the team. We have a very strong back four so we mostly dealt with it but against a weaker defense your team will thrive. Tom Elliot is a monster in the air and will cause a lot of teams trouble. Lyle didn't have the best of games but I know he's better than that as I've seen him here and I really rated him.

Just seen our penalty appeal from Barnett, that is one of the worst decisions I have ever seen.
