Considering Grimsby and Cheltenham have left the league, meaning two local derbies have been lost for the coming season. Which fixture is the league's biggest/most anticipated this season? Or another question, which is the most anticipated game for your fans this season?

The Wrexham/Chester/Tranmere triangle probably.

We don't have one, the North Ferribly local derby won't have quite the same ring to it compared to the Grimsby games. I think Hull are playing the same day and there is a fair bit of history between the clubs, I would imagine the local politzei will be out in force.

The Wrexham/Chester/Tranmere triangle probably.

Both Chester and Wrexham away are my least anticipated games due to complete over policing, early kick off times, pub closures and lack of tickets available for away fans. So for me the most anticipated away games would have to be Southport and Macc.

With both Cheltenham (and Halifax thankfully) gone, there are no outstanding anticipated games on the horizon.
That will obviously change later in season once the league table settles down.

Doesn't it take forever to get between the two despite the short distance? I can probably get to Bromley twice as fast as you can!

Think the biggest for us will be the Wrexham matches, just purely because it shows how far we've come. biggest in the league I'd go for again Wrexham but with Chester.

Tranmere Wrexham is obviously the biggest game. Its not even a debate. Without restrictions and near the end of the season the game could easily attract 10k+ at either ground.

Tranmere v Wrexham will attract the highest attendance I would guess.

Our match with Altrincham would have probably been the most traditional Conference derby but we've lost that this season and in any case it wouldn't have attracted anywhere near the numbers Tranmere or Wrexham would get.

For Barrow, we have no local rivals left, so I think the two games against Tranmere are the big ones.
Talking of "big ones", Cook and McNulty are both ex-Bluebirds who have left on bad terms, so that adds to it, and the results last season (we won 1-0 away and then the 3-4 horror show/greatest comeback ever at our place) mean that we will be keen to see how we've progressed tomorrow night, and keen to avenge when they're at our place.

Not really, the 154 from Sutton to Croydon takes about 35-40 minutes at most (depending on traffic) and the 119 from Croydon to Bromley South takes even less time, and their both regular services. So about an hour and 10 minutes by bus which even in suburban London isn't that long. A few Sutton fans live (or at least lived) near Bromley and would normally drive as it's even quicker

I didn't enjoy the Chester away fixture due to the policing, but the home game felt every bit like a big game. Sun, hog roast, decent crowd, and an edgy atmosphere.

As for away games, if the rumours are true that Wrexham will be giving us both tiers of the GUS then that'll be good. If not, the Southport away game should attract our best away following, without there being any real needle or animosity involved.

But given the April date, the history between the clubs, the potential league positions of the clubs, and the potential attendance, the Wrexham away game could be huge in every respect so that gets my vote.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I actually think the more interesting fixtures for the conference this season come in the Conference north.

The game i am very interested in will be Salford Vs FCUM after what has recently happened with salford because its 2 man Utd spin-off clubs, both close to each other and Salfords new set-up is every single aspect that the FCUM hated from man Utd and left club for........money, commercialism, TV whores etc, etc. Salford is the exact opposite of what FCUM believe in so could make that game very tasty.
