This will be the ninth visit to Rodney Parade in eight seasons for me on 3rd August to watch the Stags.

I think this means Mansfield have visited Rodney Parade more times than any other away side.

I’m away so thoroughly delighted we got Newport, would be well gutted if we got someone close by or a decent place to go while I’m on hols.

Carlisle 2nd away game, now that’s much more like it

Easier to drive, but if going on the train it's about a half hour walk up the road since the shuttle buses stopped.
REALLY?! When did this happen?! I have been to your new ground 11 times and every time I've been by train the buses would always run - Whats happened since our last visit in November 2016?!

I envisage myself doing every game again - Usually miss 1 or 2 a season due to other commitments and the odd England game, I managed to get to 54/54 last season.

Macclesfield away first and then Plymouth away in the Carabao Cup, £40 for the hotel and £55 on the train with a railcard to Plymouth. I actually quite enjoy going to Plymouth, always a good trip.

Debating going to Newport away with Lborostag - no idea why, I’m still upset about the playoffs, I hate the ground and I hate the place.

Best to get it out of the way early then hopefully not have to go back for some while!

I could go Newport but I’m not going too, because it’s shit, and the local population is mostly some sort of weird primate not quite understood by science.

Sensible choice imo. Why do a 300 mile round trip when you have all that on your doorstep anyway?

My doorstep is currently in the Asian continent you xenophobic bastard.

Morecambe is our and my first away trip of the season. Not been to their new home before. Will drive because there are rail works and delays forecast, so a sober watch (I hate those).

Probably Salford. Not because of any particular clamour to see them, it's just our second away game of the season and our first in the North.

Salford will be my first trip. The odd thing is I lived in the Manchester area for over 10 years and yet have no idea where the ground is!

I looked it up, it's in that weird no-man's land north of Manchester city centre that appears to be within the City of Salford despite being on the 'wrong' side of the river. Probably an area most Mancunians and Salfordians have no idea exists. I guess it's pretty fitting since Old Trafford is also a bit of a no-man's land.

I drive past it a couple of times a week with work. It's inbetween the City and Prestwich. Just follow Bury New Rd out of the city.

Macclesfield, Plymouth, Mansfield and Salford for us in August. That’ll be a hard pass from me.

There is nothing by Salfords ground, I got a cab from Manc City centre when I went and got the bus back to town afterwards. If you fancy it, you can walk it in 45mins from the town centre.

Just look around for a BBC camera crew and you won’t be far away.

We don’t play Salford away until 10th April (good Friday]

I usually do some sways early on, but I think this season I,m going to wait a it to see if we actually look capable of winning away from home under this manager. Got fed up of seeing us get beat so easily under him second half of last season. In fact the only away game we’ve won under pressley was his first, that was away against port vale who were down to 10 men for over half of it.

Hell, might get to Bradford then... or Morecambe, those are the only doable ones in the first half of the season.

So I’m supposed to be working the first 4 Saturdays of the season, but I have to have an operation on 30th July which the Doctor says I will need a week off work recovery time for.

We play at Morecambe on 3rd August.

Happy fucking days! :woo:
