Darren Broderick in the 99/00 Sutton team. Signed from Croydon FC after a Surrey Senior Cup tie, Croydon being 2 leagues lower. Horribly out of his depth in a team painfully out of their depth

In terms of raw ability (or lack thereof) it surely has to be Chris Kinnear Jr, who is apparently struggling in the Isthmian League having been a semi regular central midfielder for us for the past 4 years or so

Our 2009/10 season when we got relegated we started off with a few no hopers, Kane Wills, Scott Schulton, James Lindie, Jamie Forshaw to name a few.

Nice enough lads (except Forshaw, who was a prick) but clearly way out of their depth. Went 8 games without scoring at one point.

It was no coincidence that our second half of that season was play off form (7 wins in 9 at one point, including beating top 5 sides Luton, York, Mansfield and Stevenage). Unfortunately, we were so far behind, we still went down.

Every team will have briefly had players who were shockingly bad. Not many players are terrible at every club they play for at this level. For this reason alone my nomination goes to Josh O'Keefe.
Yep somehow he keeps getting a club

You ain't seen shit until you've seen dear old Nathan Blissett. Lovely lad but I bet Kiddie are still chuckling that we gave them actual money for him.

Nearly £100K in total wasn't it? :£:fl:

lol I just love that sentence, nice lads except the one who's a prick.

Was unreal to start with (granted it was only pre-season) and then turned shit. Decided he was bigger than the club and could easily get a football league club. He then joined Lowestoft I think it was.

I refuse to admit George Elokobi had a bad game ever. Just look at the guy, nobody can have a bad word to say about our loveable big George.

We had Jonathan Hippolyte in NLS when Johnson Hippolyte was the manager.
Nepotism I hear you ask.....absolutely.
His nickname on the terraces was bambi.
His legs were thinner than bambi's and he had trouble standing.

47 year old Craig McCallister gets a club down here every season and never does anything for any of them.

Christian Smith has played for a few teams here and below including us and been complete toss for all of them as far as I'm aware.

I still am shocked that Michael Bakare can have played for so many clubs and still look like he has never played football before, or even seen a game.

Steven Leslie was pretty shite for us too.

You won't even remember him, but my vote would go to Steven Gillespie. Once a half-million pound player, he appeared to actually lose the use of his feet by the end of his stint at Altrincham.

I take it his open goal miss in the 94th minute at the Rec (which probably cost you the last playoff place) was the final straw for Kinnear Snr?
