Big early season game this, both sides relatively unfancied go into this game with a 100% record. Regardless of the result I think both of us will go onto successful seasons.

I think Wolves will go unchanged for the 4th league match in a row. The only real position that is debatable is who will start between Enobakhare or Cavaliero, as both have been excellent so far. Dicko could also challenge Bonatini for a starting place but I can see him being used more as an impact player from the bench.

Ruddy

Miranda - Coady - Boly
Doherty ------------------------ Douglas
Neves - Saiss
Enobakhare ------ Jota
Bonatini

Prediction: 1-1 draw, Bonatini to score.

Cardiff have smashed Burton (away) and newly-promoted Blades (home) and poorly-performing Villa (home). And haven't conceded a goal.

Puts our record against Derby and Hull to shame. Oh and against Boro.

3-0 Wolves (Ha ha. Almost guarantee that will come back to haunt me!)

Would be happy with a draw in this one. Will probably be the same side that played Villla minus Bennett who is injured. Will 100% be an exciting and entertaining game to watch mind (I know, crazy for a Warnock side!)

Two clubs that have transitioned out of the starting blocks into an upright gate, quicker than everyone else.

Narrow Wolves victory with the winning goal coming late on.

2-1

Tricky one, Cardiff don't have any experience playing a Jorge Mendes team. Both are in good form, but I imagine JMFC are better.

Wolves fans accusing the reds of being dirty, Cardiff fans saying Wolves are diving divas who cant take a good raking to the shins. No news on any football.

What a start to the season he's had. Sounds like a deserved win this. Despite the moaning from our fans about your play, it sounds like you've just been better than us.

Aye Radio Wales saying the same, just been in your face and putting it about a bit. What needs to be done when you're playing a team full of technical players.

Sometimes kicking fuck out your opponents works....
We did it against Crystal Palace and their fans were calling us disgusting and a shit team even though we beat them 3-0, it was quite funny really

Every team we play say the same, fair play charts show we're quite well behaved...

Anyway massive 3 points that is, still think we're gonna go down though....

Don't get me wrong, Cardiff are very effective at what they do. They pull our players back when the referee isn't looking, several handballs... it was very clever. As much as I despise Warnock he sets his teams up in such an effective manner. I have no doubt if Cardiff play like that they will be up there at the end of the season. We just didn't have an answer to his hoofball tactics or his players making persistant fouls. Mendez Laing looks a great player.. I hate how he is a other player we sold for nothing and comes back to haunt us.

Still 9 points from 'Boro, Derby, Hull and Cardiff.. very happy.

I won't argue that we're physical and sometimes a bit cynical with our play, in this league you need to be to get anywhere. And quite frankly it's wonderful to see with the years we've had of being nicey nicey and rolling over for teams.
Also sounded like you didn't have a clue on how to handle Zohore which is no massive shock really.
We've given up possession in every single game this season as well, yet have created more chances than every team we have played. Once teams figure that out the real tests will start.
Onwards to QPR now and Holloway, will be another big test for us.

Warnock's post match interview:

"I'm pleased that we dug in, especially when you lose the goal as well which gives them the impetus and the crowd, it's a great crowd at Molineux and you can see how much they love me. I revel in that, it spurs me on if anything."

"I think Wolves have seen a good side today. They'll probably spend another £20m or £30m in January won't they?"

"I think Wolves is a good club and it's nice to see them like this. They've been in the doldrums for quite a lot of years. It's a good atmosphere and they always give me a good welcome. I've never been a banker, I think that's what they were calling me?"

"I said to one of the young lads outside who wanted an autograph 'you'll be going home disappointed tonight son'. Another guy a big mouth, shouted to me 'Warnock you've no chance today'. I said 'well you come and see my after when I'm getting on the bus'...but I bet he's not there!"

Fair play, he has a sense of humour

Watched the game back(loving iFollow) and it might be me being biased but it looks to me like Wolves gave as good as they got in the "nasty fouling" aspect of the game. Cannae have your cake and eat it Nuno dear.

Your lad who elbowed Romain Saiss in the neck at the end of the first half and only get a yellow, he should have gone for that mate, indefensible.

Not making excuses and you deserved the win, but if he sees red for that then the whole second half pans out differently.

I like how warnock sets up his teams. They have bullied us off the park the last couple of times at their place.

Beaten comprehensively by a physically strong side who knew how to get what they want. We've done this before and we'll do it again, so no complaints.

Cardiff won't win the Championship this way because there are many other teams who know this game - Nuno and our imports didn't. They do now.

It's time for Nuno to stop blaming referees and look at how our own team is set up. This was a game where we could have done with Stearman and Gary Breen back on loan for the day.
