Close call this one tonight. Two teams performing well at the minute. Personally though i think we will be too strong for jimmy's reviving cobblers and finish the night in 2nd.
Wigan win 2-0 (goals Grigg and Jacobs)

I'm predicting 3-1 to Wigan. We have showed improvement over the last few games with JFH in charge but we are yet to click for 90 mins. The second half we have always been clinging on.

Going for 2 goals for Jacobs and one for Toney, all 3 goals from our ex youth players. How are they both getting on?

Both have started really well this season and would walk into any side in this league. Think Jacobs will hit double figures for both goals and assists this season. I like Toney too, their is alot more to his game than goals. He brings others into play amd creates space for others to exploit.

Isnt it played 4 lost against Hasselbaink over the last few seasons? All by a 1 goal margin too. Always has his sides well organised and hard to beat. Hopefully get it right against him this time.

Think they will come to soak up the pressure and hit us on the counter, we need an early goal to open the game up.

Sounds like we've had a pretty strong penalty shout turned down? Would have been undeserved but who cares

I think we need to stop producing home grown players...

Have to agree re. Jacobs.

Was head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch against us last week.

Jacobs or Holmes?

If only we had a winger even half the level of those now.

Would still have to be Holmes for me, he's just incredible. Just wish he would cut out some of his idiocy, he's been booked 5 times already but Jacobs was definitely the stand-out last Tuesday.

Jacobs is one of those players that emphasises the gap in quality that has developed rapidly over the last few years between League One and the Championship. Always been fantastic at L1 level and could well win his third successive League One title in May. But in the Championship has never really had the pace and consistent end product to cut it. His set pieces are garbage as well. He worked his nuts off in the Championship, but didn't have the quality required to come with a moment of magic to win us a game like he does in League One (such as he did last night).

I wasn't there last night but it sounded like it was set up to be another classic Jimmy Floyd away job on us until Jacobs pulled something special out the bag. Under 1.5 goals was always going to be printing money based on our games against Jimmy's last two teams.
