Persona 5 looks hype as fuck. Probably GOTY for me if it comes west and is as good as the last one.

This month I've got Uncharted 4, Valkyria Chronicles remaster, Fire Emblem Fates special edition and Overwatch.
Pretty good month.

Only just heard about Valkyria Chronicles remaster, got to the last chapter on original then lost my save. Gonna have to get the remaster, need my strategy and waifu's. On that note FE:Fates is rather heavy on the Waifu side of things, enjoy.

EDIT Also i read that P5 is deffo coming west, apparently something the localisation team mentioned about being snowed under with P5 work so couldn't be doing something else.

So a bunch of Pokemon Sun and Moon info released today... including the starters

A grass owl (Rowlet), a fire kitty (Litten) and a... clown seal Popplio)? Fucking hell. I'd post pictures but there are barely any up yet. Just google that shit, yo.

Fire kitty is the standout for me so far, though the owl is pretty cool too and I can imagine a pretty bad ass final evolution.

Popplio though? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Oh yeah, the legendaries look cool as hell as well. A big FIRE LION THING for Sun and a MOON BAT for moon. Awesome stuffs.

I fuckin' love me some Civ, can't wait for this new one. Cities are gonna actually expand to beyond just one tile this time as well... always thought it was a little silly how your massive capital cities always looked roughly the same size as poxy little new settlements that get set up about 4000 years later.

They're all growing on me, to be honest. I think that when new Pokemon are announced there is usually an element of "fuck that, they're not as good as the originals", but once you get over that most of them aren't too bad.

Tempted by DOOM; the original games are amongst my favourite ever, and the soundtrack on the PSX version is the finest soundtrack in all of games imo. Played DOOM 3 a while back as well and though it wasn't the same, it was still pretty good. I like the look of the game mechanics in this new one though and the map creator inclusion which is a great touch.

I don't know. I just don't think that, in era of Nobuo Uematsu, Koji Kondo and Grant Kirkhope and others, MIDI versions of popular 80s Metal tracks were the best video game music of 1993... never mind the best video game music of all time (subjective though that is).
