Quickest it's been for a while, usually at 15-18mb/s but it's now cutting out 5 or 6 times a day, only for half a minute max, but that's long enough for the sky box to lose connection and not reconnect for a while. Pretty shit when working from home too.

No mate, it's just that when I fitted our dishwasher in place the water wouldn't drain, when I had a proper look into the problem I discovered that I'd kinked the outlet hose when pushing the unit back against the wall.

Another thing to remember is that some new washing machines are delivered with a safety bung in the outlet pipe to protect the pump...just a thought.
Too technical mate.....

clearing out accumulated paperwork (old house, car insurance, electrical goods insurances docs and loads of other papery shit that had been long forgotten) then separating what can just get slung and what has to be shredded/burned. Around an hour and a half it took and my head was thumping!

He is one of those people that seems so genuinely inoffensive that I couldn't imagine someone out there miserable enough to dislike him.

Hi Pagnell.

Hi Pagnell.
I don't mind Chappers tbh, he's one of the better presenters out there and does seem interested in football unlike a lot of others who phone it in or try too hard to be edgy.

I've been an idiot. The material around my headphone earpads is disintegrating, so I decided it would do no harm to remove the material completely leaving the cushion around my ears when listening. Unfortunately the material must create a sort of seal, as when I'm now using them, the sound leakage is bad and I can hardly hear anything out of them!

On top of that I want velour replacements, and they seem to do them for every one in the range except my own headphones; typical!

Is that the black (or whatever colour) plastic ? Couple of years ago when the wife was cutting my hair she started to notice small black flakes on my head. Hadn't a clue what it was for a couple of months the I noticed it was flaking off the ear pieces. Thought I had some kind of disease.....

Blue bottles. The minute I feed the cats they bastards appear.....and they must be the thickest of thick creatures going....door's wide open, window is wide open (specifically to get them out) but they stay inside hitting off the window interior. Thick bastards!

Whether this sort of thing deserves its own thread, but it comes under 'The Dumbest Things I Have Done'

When we lived in rural Ireland there was, obviously, no rubbish collections so most things that could be burnt was.

I bought one of those metal dustbins with a lid which had a chimney in it, made for burning stuff.

To get it going I poured some petrol down the chimney and then dropped a lit match in.

Well, fuck me, the lid blew right off and about 20 foot in the air. How it didn't take me head off I have no idea.

I have also sliced through the power cord when hedge strimming and I also managed to set fire to my kennels whilst burning the dogs paper bedding.

Does anyone remember Kenny Everett's DIY 'expert' Reg? Because that is what this reminds me of.

Sorry Dan but that deserves.....:fl::fl:.....especially the metal bin with chimeyed lid. We've got one of these but I'm afraid it's matches that we use to get it going mate.
