Aaah if it wasn't that he's the best thing to watch in wrestling inside the ring I'd said lets get EC3 on commentary because he'd be awesome as a heel co-comm.

to be honest Tazz has been to TNA what King has been for WWE...................going through the motions and nothing more.

its a nice chance to freshen the comm team completely, maybe Daniel Wolfe if free

Not sure if anyone else has seen it but TNA has been struggling to pay it's staff lately which spells huge problems for them, awful news as TNA has really been improving lately.

Another very very enjoyable show in a big string of them at present. This format of sort've focusing on a division for nearly the entire show is actually quite interesting and just freshens it up each week.

a very good promo between Angle and young also bringing out the 'what type of Young will fight next week' approach to the title match and building next weeks show.

only bits I didn't like were A: Needing a gimmick match for the ME, why not have a simple tournament, TNA are over-doing the gimmick matches at present and second the Hardy's winning, it is clearly a DA decision and TNA need to not fall into the same trap they did at Spike with decisions not made by the company. 2 much more interesting teams could or should have won.....Bram/EC3 or Aries/Roode as either would take the belts into some good storylines, Hardy's is the bland, boring, predictable nothing win.

plus for a company which has superbly been building newer people and done very well in making you care for lots of new people it isn't good to see the belts on the same group of ex-wwe guys.

but I won't complain too much as the shows are constantly enjoyable, the promo's good and to be fair a one-man commentary team actually worked very well.

and next week we have a very different show a women focused show, which is a first for main wrestling. It does have one man match for the world title, but other than that I think its all knock-out focused, be interesting to see how it does.

has it.

ah that is a shame as they have been superb this year, been probably the most consistently good wrestling programme I've ever seen, it includes WWE in 2000 and 2001.

but alas the numbers never followed it, seems something weird with wrestling fans in the US, they follow when the shows give you the random crap everybody hates then when shows deliver solid storylines, good wrestling and pushing some new stars people don't follow.

same whatever company you pick.

meh.......never understood it, never will.

To be fair they used to deny all other things.

although I see this time they are threatening legal action which is unusual.

I think they'll be gone by this time next year, its a shame as they have been delivering for me a great show now for a year straight, I have not enjoyed watching wrestling as much since maybe late 2001, but its all ended up too late, they needed to have found this formula a long time ago.

but I shall still enjoy this year, it could yet still be my fave since watching wrestling if they can keep it going, I do miss having PPV's to finish feuds off, but one plus of it has been very consistent weekly shows, maybe it is a sign to WWE that what they maybe need to do is also reduce PPV's down.

Destination America has cancelled them from what I can see. A lot of the blame goes to Carter, she's basically a clueless fuck up with no idea on anything to do with that kind of business. Over to Jarrett then.

Saddlerrad to buy TNA and debut as a new authority figure, ratings soar.

As long as they can keep going until end of year so I can see if it joins 1992/2000/2001/2012 in my group of best years.

plus I'd like to see EC3 get a shot at world title before the finale.

although when TNA goes me thinks afew will get a shock who think a ROH is going to suddenly rise out the ashes.........just is no growth in wrestling anymore its a shame really.

That will be the nail in the TNA coffin then. Blame Dixie. She abuses the directors as Destination America in an email that they read..they schedule an apology meeting and she doesn't even bother to show up. Big news for ROH which will probably go on to replace TNA now, but what a let down for TNA fans.

Good for ROH, I am still wondering where Jarretts will go.

is that on top of the Sinclair deal or replacing as they used to say that hurt them more than helped.

Well looking back and thinking about it all I still don't understand this recent development.

I had always expected TNA will fold in 2015, so that news didn't surprise me as said couple of days back, it seemed clear DA were not that happy, from all accounts due to expecting more numbers and sponsors not wanting to back wrestling......same old problems every promotion gets.

but then they sign up another Wrestling company which they just makes me wonder why???

At the end of the day TNA hasn't put a foot wrong in 2015, nearly every single week the show has been good to excellent, its' been on a roll now for pretty much 12 months, no one who watches it complains, most are happy, even delighted that they enjoy it each week, Dixie doesn't get involved, there is no clap-trap or problems......no one can at all swipe TNA for its product like they could previously.

So in that respect I am unsure what DA are actually after, they have a show which delivers them good ratings for its network, the shows are good, they do not get slated for their quality....it won't really grow, but then its not going to grow with anyone else either.

I could understand their stance of 'get rid of wrestling' but not switching to ROH as it isn't going to change much..............unless they believe this internet hype that has been about for years that if TNA dies ROH will suddenly grow to a national company...........won't happen because as soon as TNA goes all that negative attacking they get daily will switch right onto ROH's doorstep.

I just hope this move doesn't also drag ROH down death's door, they have done well for having little growth/finances or the National attention TNA got, I just fear that if ROH start and end up with similar or less ratings than TNA get the product will be swatted away by DA like it has with TNA.

I could maybe have understood both staying as they maybe hope getting the 300,000 odd ROH fans with the 500,000 TNA fans may generate a stronger rating on both..............but if one replaces other it may not work.

Be an interesting few months anyway

So tonight begins probably the most interesting aspect of wrestling since that day TNA tried that failed MNW.

ROH/TNA back-to-back double bill...............could it see ROH destroy TNA in ratings and kill them off, could TNA hold bigger Ratings than ROH and crush the internet views ROH was always more popular...........could they bizarrely help each other grow in some bitter, twited way.....or maybe will they help kill each other off.

lots of possible options, but it is a shame there is real genuine hate on both parties as they could have ran a brilliant invasion storyline between both which could have been awesome........oh well.

and as yet no one knows what the hell DA are wanting, this throwing a big curveball to the views they were ditching TNA as wrestling didn't work for them.

its not been good, i hate handicap shows, I do love EC3 in his bits.

its not been as good the lat 3-4 shows having been good for months, I suppose the uncertain future maybe dictating the creative side now.

I think personally the GFW stuff may be because they know TNA will die come september and it covers somewhere for everyone to go.

I caught an episode in my hotel room last night but no idea how up to date it was? Dixie Carter was in the ring to start with all the wrestlers around her and then she introduced Bully Ray as the new owner/GM or something? Anyone know how up to date that is?

I enjoyed the fatal-four-way for the X-Division title too, even though Tigre Uno botched the finish.

That was this weeks but you sort've picked a poor time to watch at present its not as good as it was from Jan-Jun....but EC3 is champ and he's very entertaining, just they've lost most other talent now........they say the lack of TV may kill TNA, it may moreso be lack of wrestlers way its going, be none left.

at least i'll have a Bully Vs EC3 promo feud to look forward to, them 2 should easily own the shows weekly.

Well I'm not sure I'll watch regularly but just thought I'd see where it's at. Big fan of EC3, Bram and Spud tho. Can't help but love a wee bit a Grado too :)
